The space Our geodesic domes are a truly special experience, and we have no doubt you won't want to leave! We have designed and built the domes with a focus on offering you the traditional patagonian rustic charm combined with all the comforts of modern living, to offer a truly unforgettable experience, whilst building sustainably, and being off-grid. The dome is a celebration of natural elements, built in a rustic and refined patagonia style. The mezzanine is supported by chunky local hardwood posts, while the kitchen and dome furniture are built by local artisanal craftsman, using reclaimed timbers (some from the amazon rainforest, and others locally sourced, over 300 years old). The celebration of natural elements continues in the bathroom, as it features slate tiles from Brazil, and a spacious and luxurious rainfall shower. We believe that all aspects of a home can be both functional and beautiful spaces, and that is what we have worked towards creating. Each dome is designed to share a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains and fjords, through their large window arrays. The property features 280 degrees views of the mountains, located in the stillness and peace of this rural setting, while still being close to Puerto Natales. Each dome has a fully equipped kitchen so you can enjoy a hearty home cooked meal, and a delicious breakfast is included in your stay. We created our business with sustainability at the heart of what we do, including throughout the building process and while operating our business. We have built our domes with a focus on beauty, functionality and thermal efficiency. In winter you can relax in the open plan living area and enjoy the central heating system, while snow creates a wonderland outside. We are so excited to be powering our domes with renewable energy, entirely powered by our solar system! Guest access Your booking is for one 57 square metre geodesic dome. You will enjoy a spacious open plan design, with a superior comfort king size bed on the mezzanine. Strategically placed windows offer exceptional views of the starry night skies from the comfort of your bed, while you will also have uninterrupted views of the glacier and fjords. We are located a short 10 minute drive to centro, and we have ample parking onsite. Other things to note All Chilean citizens and all foreigners with temporary or permanent residency in Chile, are legally required to pay 19% IVA on bookings. This 19% is payable on the payput figure we receive from AirBnB and excludes all AirBnB fees and charges. This amount will be requested prior to check in and can be paid via the AirBnB resolution centre or via bank transfer to our chilean business account.
