Sea & beach view "Solvända" Södra Bruket

Södra Bruket is a unique place and many guests come back year after year! Södra Öland is especially appreciated by birdwatchers and families with children. The picturesque apartment is part of the historic alum factory. It is located directly adjacent to hiking trails, the geological garden and the beautiful pebble beach (bathrobe distance). Take a refreshing dip or enjoy the adorable and well-known sunset. It offers fantastic opportunities for both rest and adventure. Most welcome! The space The well-designed and bright apartment is 55 sqm and has three rooms. The apartment is upstairs. In the small room (located adjacent to the hall and divided by a curtain) there are two single beds and a TV. The window faces south overlooking the beach. The dining area in the kitchen is nice and through the window you have a view of the sea. In the spacious kitchen, there is a sofa bed that sleeps two people. The large room is a combined bedroom and living room. There is a double bed with room for two, sofa and TV. The window faces the front of the house. The fully tiled bathroom has a toilet, shower and a towel dryer. The apartment is perfect for two couples, four close friends or a medium-sized family. The apartment is in a house from the early 1800s and there are a total of 5 apartments. All apartments are consistently with windows facing the sea and the front of the house. The house is charming with many details left. In some apartments, there is a tiled stove and some have a wood-burning stove. Please note that these cannot be used. The old house has features such as creaky beams, stairs and can be experienced as sensitive. This is part of the soul of the house :-) The other apartments are called Gullviva, Tussilago, Ölandstok and Våradonis. Guest access There are several places with outdoor furniture around the house. You are free to use the space you want for the day. If you want to sit in the sun, you can do that, or if you want to sit in the shade, you can do that. You get along with your neighbors in the house. There is room for everyone. The sea is right behind the house. So bring a blanket and sit down on the grass or the beach to watch the sunset or the sea. If the sea is calm one day, you may be lucky enough to see a seal peeking up. There is a possibility to borrow a barbecue. However, please be sure to put it out after you and take responsibility for keeping the area around the barbecue clean. Other things to note You park your car at the designated spaces. There is also the possibility to park along parts of Alunbruksgatan. Please note that you cannot park right by the house, as we aim to keep the area car-free for everyone's peace and quiet. Please remember to bring your own sheets and towels. Cleaning fee applies.
