6bdrm Historic downtown Home: Walk to river & lake

Your family will be in the heart of the historic and business districts, the location can't be beat. Just a 1-2 block walk to local restaurants and a movie theater in downtown Oswego and the Oswego River. Lake Ontario is a 15 minute beautiful walk or just a couple minute drive. This 3,200 sq ft six bedroom house has two floors, each with a big, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathrooms, and three bedrooms. There is a second (half) bath on the first floor as well. Beautiful and well stocked! The space Welcome to our beautifully restored downtown Oswego historic home. This 6 bedroom 2.5 bath house 6 bedrooms. 1 king, 2 queens, 2 doubles and a twin bunkbed. We also have a pull out couch in the upstairs living room if needed. Original hardwood floors and many ornate details make this a memorable stay. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a short, or long stay. An easy walk to downtown, our historic home is perfect for an escape to Oswego's downtown. Close to the river and lake, you can walk to many restaurants, shops, and parks this house is a perfect place for your extended family to gather. Enjoy some of the features of this home: vintage record collection, natural gas fireplace, curated and eclectic furniture, carefully selected linens and mattresses. Back deck with hammock, propane grill, and outdoor table with umbrella make this a sweet place to eat breakfast or enjoy some fresh air. Basketball hoop on the driveway is a perfect place to enjoy some down time with friends/families. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. This is a 2 unit home, however you will have access to both apartments and floors. There is a sliding back door to a small deck and backyard that is for use by our guests. There is also a small Juliet porch that is accessed only through the dining room. There is no basement, attic, or garage access. While there are two front doors to the apartments, inside the house, in the back there is a back "servant" staircase that connects each floor. You are welcome to use this staircase during your stay, but please keep in mind that it is dark, steep, and skinny. It should not be used by kids or anyone with mobility issues. Other things to note - There is free road parking and room in the driveway for 3 cars. The driveway is very skinny so please park at your own risk. We do not own the metal fence that borders the driveway. - No parties or unregistered guests - Please use the back, interior, servant staircase at your own risk, it is skinny, steep and difficult to navigate, but it is a nice alternative to going outside to get between floors - This is a residential neighborhood so please follow quiet hours between 10pm-8am - This is an old historic home on the national historic registry. We have it on our schedule in 2024 to fix and paint the exterior of the house. You may see some spots that need some scraping and painting, however this will not detract from your stay.
