Sleep by the Creek

Tucked away amongst ancient old gum trees in the Willunga foothills, 'Sleep by the creek' BnB is a lovely place to unwind, relax, and be refreshed. Situated alongside a delightful winter creek, this place is a haven for lots of birds! Honeyeaters, Robins, Parrots, Kookaburras, Tawny Frogmouths. Wrens, Wattle Birds, and much more. The cottage sits behind the original stone 1840 dwelling and is close to two of Willunga's historic slate quarries. Wineries, beaches, restaurants, cafes close by. The space Situated alongside a delightful winter creek, this place in all seasons, wet or dry, is a haven for an abundance of native birds, kangaroos, koalas, and the occasional echidnas! The BnB is on the same property as the original 1840 stone cottage and shepherds hut. Situated amongst the old gum trees it is a quiet and beautiful setting. The BnB is very well equiped on all fronts for your stay. We have a wood stove for those colder winter evenings, and an east facing deck overlooking the creek- a great place in the mornings especially as the sun streams in. Over winter months you can even have an outdoor brazier fire alongside the creek ...and all this close to the famous southern vales wineries, beautiful beaches, and lovely countryside of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Guest access Guests can access the front and back lawn areas, and the creek area below the deck.
