Outdoor living This is where The Pines really shines. Step outside and enjoy the open landscape surrounding the farmhouse. Depending on the season, you'll see lavender growing in the fields, golden wheat country, evergreens and the rolling hills surrounding the South Touchet Valley. Relax in the private hot tub after a day of exploring, enjoy dinner outside or gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down. On clear nights, the rural setting also makes for beautiful stargazing. Guest access Guests have private access to the Lavender House, hot tub and designated outdoor areas surrounding the home. Other things to note A working lavender farm The Pines is a working lavender farm, so the landscape changes with the seasons. Summer brings lavender blooms and farm activity, while fall brings changing colors and crisp evenings. Winter offers a peaceful home base for trips into the Blue Mountains, and spring brings the farm back to life. Because this is a working farm, you may occasionally see us tending lavender, mowing or taking care of the property. The Lavender House and its guest areas are yours to enjoy, and we make every effort to provide guests with plenty of privacy. The surrounding area is a classic southeastern Washington landscape of farmland, rolling wheat fields, evergreens, river country and the nearby Blue Mountains. You'll feel away from it all while still being close enough to Dayton for dining, shopping and exploring. It's also a wonderful jumping-off point for the Blue Mountains, Bluewood and Walla Walla wine country. About your hosts We're Mike and Tobey. We love Dayton and have always loved the Pacific Northwest and the lifestyle that comes with it. We purchased this property in 2022 with a dream of turning it into a special lavender farm and a place our family could enjoy for generations. The Pines has become exactly that—and we love being able to share a little piece of it with our guests.
