The cabin is located on a 95 acre eco-friendly hobby farm just 5 minutes from the 401. Close to amenities yet secluded in a rural area. The space Nestled in a beautiful wooded spot overlooking a pond teeming with various bird species. It’s a perfect place to watch the sunset, have a campfire, or simply chill out and take in the view. The pond attracts kingfishers, wild geese and ducks, as well as Patty, my domestic duck! Relax in the barrel sauna beside the cabin. Come visit the geodesic dome greenhouse that is on the property. Kick back by its indoor fish pond surrounded by tropical plants. Guest access The cabin is easy to access by a lane through the property. The door will be left unlocked for self check-in. Other things to note You can find plenty of things to do in the area. We are near the Bay of Quinte, Sandbanks Provincial Park beaches, Tyendinaga Cavern and Caves, and all of the Prince Edward County wineries. It’s just an 8 minute drive to Shannonville Motorsport Park. I supply fresh eggs from my hens when available. The tap water at the cabin is clean, fresh, and treated to be safe to drink. You may hear my roosters calling off and on during the day. For safety reasons, exploring the property north of the pond is not permitted at this time.
