Pendragon View is a cosy two‑bedroom cottage in the peaceful Cumbrian countryside, with stunning views of Pendragon Castle, Wild Boar Fell and Mallerstang Edge. From your doorstep, wander scenic trails, spot wildlife and breathe wide‑open skies. Explore the legendary 12th‑century ruins tied to King Arthur, then savour charm of Kirkby Stephen’s shops, pubs and the Settle–Carlisle railway. With the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District nearby, it’s a perfect haven for peace or adventure. The space GROUND FLOOR The cottage features an open-plan living-dining room with an oak floor, a spacious dining area, and comfortable sofas to take in the stunning views of Pendragon Castle. A hand-crafted oak staircase leads to the first-floor bedrooms. The kitchen is custom-built with a Westmorland green stone worktop, butler sink, electric cooker with oven, microwave, under-counter fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, and washing machine. Stone-flagged floor. The shower room includes a walk-in shower, under-floor heating, toilet, basin, and towel rail, complemented by a stone-flagged floor. FIRST FLOOR Relaxing and spacious double bedroom with a king size bed, an original beam, a cosy window seat and oak flooring. Light and airy twin bedroom with a cosy window seat, an original beam, oak flooring and built-in storage. The cottage is warmed by an air-source heat-pump central heating system, with a radiator in every room. Solid oak flooring runs throughout, except in the kitchen and shower room. Guests have access to high-speed broadband. A stair gate, hairdryer, and a small ironing board with iron are provided. Strictly NO SMOKING or VAPING. OUTSIDE: Ample private parking, enclosed grass garden, picnic table with a portable barbecue, lock-up bike storage. A public footpath, typically with minimal use, runs alongside the cottage.
