The Joiner's Cottage

Welcome to The Joiner's Cottage, a charming Lakeland house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Situated in a small hamlet less than two miles from the village of Coniston, a 30 minute walk from the lake shore and just a 20 minute stroll along a public footpath to the local pub in Torver. The walk up the Old Man of Coniston starts at the front door. This spacious cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is very dog friendly. Pets cost £20.00 in total for their stay. (Just put 1 in the dog box). The space There are three bedrooms, one superking size, one king size and one twin room. All bedrooms are ensuite and have smart TV/DVDs. A wonderful lounge and kitchen area with a log burner. Logs and kindling are provided for the first night during the cooler months (October to May). Outside, the patio is equipped with table and seating for six and is an ideal place to have a BBQ. Guest access Access is through a gated entrance to the garden and driveway which can accommodate one large SUV (or two small vehicles if the gates are left open) - the cottage entrance is direct from the parking area. Additional parking can usually be found on the layby just outside the gates. Other things to note Please contact me for reduced occupancy discount. There is a Type 2, 7.4kW EV charger available, please ask for details. Bed linen, bath mats and washing up equipment is included, however towels are not included, so please remember to bring you own towels! If you forget, they can be rented from Stuart and Sandy at Wheelgate B&B next door.
