Other things to note Security cameras have been installed at the entrances to the building and the apartment, which record only in the common spaces (entrance to the building, elevator area and entrance hall). Recordings are securely stored in the cloud and are only used if it is necessary to investigate situations that may affect safety or compliance with the rules of coexistence, both in the neighborhood and in Airbnb regulations. I want to clarify that these cameras do not invade guests' privacy, as they are not inside the apartment or in private spaces. Their sole purpose is to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Important information about services and supplies: In Buenos Aires, essential services (electricity, water, gas, internet) are provided exclusively by one company for each item due to a monopoly system. Although I, as a host, pay for and contract these services, I have no control over their operation or over possible interruptions, which can occur due to network maintenance, infrastructure saturation, weather conditions, or reasons beyond my control. During the summer, especially on hot days, the demand for energy can lead to scheduled or unforeseen outages, which are also beyond my control. Buenos Aires is a densely populated city, and although it is the capital, it is part of a developing country with limited infrastructure. If you experience internet or other service outages during your stay, please understand that these are structural problems that all Argentines face and that are beyond my control as a host. To evaluate your experience based on these situations would be like judging Argentina for not being a first world country, which, clearly, we are not. We're the southernmost country in the world, with all the challenges that this implies. IMPORTANT: Documentation requirement for check-in To ensure everyone's safety and comply with the new regulations of Law 6.255 of the City of Buenos Aires, all guests must present their documentation at two times: 1. After confirming the reservation, you must send a photo of your ID or passport through the Airbnb system. 2. On the day of check-in, you must present the same documentation in physical format, so that the person in charge of check-in can take a new photo as part of the mandatory registration.
