This is the place for you to work - rest - cook - relax - and walk to downtown amenities. The private driveway leads to a dedicated porch and entrance and the first floor suite is all yours. This downtown location is a few steps from the Classic Car Museum. You can count on a robust internet connection, an equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, and a full laundry room for your convenience. You can expect a spotless clean place and prompt communications and support from your local host. The space This is a first floor suite that gives you the feeling of having a full house to yourself. The private driveway leads you to your porch and entrance for convenient access. The living room and dining areas are large. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, coffee station and the cooking utensils and tools you need to cook for one to entertain. Your work area and bedroom are spacious and very clean. The robust internet connection is perfect for remote work. The private picnic and rest area has been landscaped to attract beautiful birds. There are tables and umbrellas and upon request, we can provide a fire pit and a grill. Guest access The first floor is your private suite. The main entrance had a coded lock. We leave keys for the front door if you wish to use it. The atrium to the front door is the only shared space. Long term tenant lives on the second floor but uses for the most part the private entrance to the second floor suite. Security cameras ONLY ON THE OUTSIDE monitor overnight activity for your safety. Other things to note VERY IMPORTANT - Many of our returning guests, and family who stay at the house have serious respiratory issues. For this reason, no carpets are installed on the floors. We only have two small area carpets that are thoroughly cleaned after each stay. We have promised to offer a clean environment with the fewest allergens. For this reason, we do not welcome pets at this time. For guests with service animals essential to their health, we make exceptions by adding a steam cleaning fee to the stay of $98. This allows us to protect health needs without impacting opportunities for people with disabilities or special needs. CITY NOISE - This is downtown Norwich. Mostly, it is quiet, but the traffic noise is heavy during work hours. PRIVACY - We own the adjacent property, so we have better control over people using the properties.
