Dartmoor peaceful homestay - 2 double rooms avail

On the edge of Dartmoor, close to Lydford Gorge & Granite Way.We offer two double ensuite rooms with secure car parking and dry storage for bikes. Centrally heated rooms have tea/coffee tray, TV & hairdryer. En suite including rainfall shower and heated towel rail with complimentary toiletries and towels provided. WiFi & "hearty" continental breakfast included. Transport to/from Okehampton train station can be arranged. 10mins to A30, 15mins to Okehampton & Tavistock The space Both of our double bedrooms available have a 4m² private en suite. The en suites include a rainfall shower with heating and a heated towel rail. All towels, toilet paper shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, handsoap and a hairdryer & other small essentials are provided. The bedrooms are centrally heated and have king size beds, bedside cabinets, table lamps, wardrobe space with hangers and a large chest of drawers for storage. There is a TV and tea/coffee facilities with homemade biscuits & fresh milk are supplied in each room. Small loads of washing/drying can be done for a supplementary charge and an iron and ironing board is available for guests to use. A "hearty" continental breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in our large open plan kitchen/diner or breakfast room. Takeway picnics can be ordered and supplied for an additional charge. Three local pubs provide a choice of evening meals. There is secure dry storage for bikes and motorbikes and room for wet walking gear to be dried and stored also. Situation-wise we are ideally placed for both leisure and business guests, being 10 mins from the A30 and 15mins from Okehampton and Tavistock. The very reliable local bus service operates hourly to both towns. An ideal stop over en route to/from Cornwall. The train station in Okehampton provides easy access to Exeter and beyond.
