Beautiful Victorian Family House

Welcome to my home in London! If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful place to unwind after an exciting day out in London, this is the place for you! The space This Victorian home is in a jewel of a neighbourhood, the well-known Brooklyn of London, where you get to experience the fun and laid back restaurants, cafes, cocktails bars and shops of Stoke Newington. This is peaceful tree-lined road with no through traffic, and yet moments from the bus routes going into the city. You're also a stone's throw from nature at its best in London: you are close to the sought-after Clissold Park as well as the protected area of the Reservoir where you'll find expanses of water and wild birds. Inside, you'll find an extraordinarily comfortable sofa, and comfy armchairs. A large kitchen where you can cook galore, with all the kitchen utensils, cutlery and kitchenware you'll need. Outside dining and chairs are there if it's warm weather and you want to have dinner or drinks al fresco. I've also got very comfy hanging chairs which I discovered in luxury hotels. There is: - One king-size double bed in one bedroom on the first floor (with a large desk for working as needed) - One king-size double bed in one bedroom on the top floor (with the en-suite bathroom); this bedroom also has a single bed - One adult-sized single bed in the kid's bedroom - Two cot beds in the babies' bedroom (Note that bedroom 2 and the work space on the photos have changed to add these additional beds as described above as I since have had twin girls - photos will be updated shortly!) I have a full set of weights ranging from 1 kg to 8 kg, a gym mat and a yoga mat in the playroom/ exercise room. I also have a ton of kids games (including my favourite, an amazing Cluedo about who stole the Mona Lisa), puzzles and a piano. There are two bathrooms, one with a huge Victorian bath and both with large showers. There is an extra toilet downstairs so there will be no queuing to get ready in the mornings. I am a huge fan of comfort and bohemian design (I travel a lot) and I am eco-conscious. So you'll find only the best mattresses, sheets and towels; eco-friendly toiletries; Sonos loudspeakers in the whole house; very fast wifi; and all the amenities you'll need (washer, dryer, dishwasher, hairdryer, etc.). And subscriptions to Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime are available if more relaxing is needed! To get to the heart of London, you can take the bus directly to the heart of the city, or you can take the Overground train or the bus & tube. I'd recommend getting Citymapper on your phone to get around like a true Londoner as there are so many travel variations possible with lots of different buses, tube and train lines, depending on what time you are traveling. Some logistics: - Cats! You will be co-habiting with two gentle and extremely cute cats (brother and sister) - although you probably won’t see the boy cat as he is hardly ever at home. They come and go in an electronic cat flap in the kitchen and are very independent. (Simply, my cat sitter may come on your third day to make sure the cats have everything they need.) - Parking: there is all-day on-street parking available for £6 per day (except for Sunday which is free). - I can give you recommendations of all of my favourite things to do around Stoke Newington, North London, and the centre and I also have tons of guide books as - after ten years of living here after moving back home from New York - I still love to explore all the crooks and crannies of London.
