Escape the city at our heavenly abode on the Connecticut coastline. Come for the stunning water views from the deck, the beach, trails, boating, fishing, or just for a change of scenery and a bit of serenity. Perfectly situated a few minutes from 4 beaches, the famous Niantic boardwalk, and village with an array of great restaurants and charming shops. We are 12 miles from Mystic and 15 miles from casinos. Hop on the trail just steps from your doorstep to explore the precious Oswegatchie Hills The space The house sits on a little hill with sweeping water views from most rooms. The whole house is bathed in sunlight from the huge windows. The spacious outdoor deck provides comfortable seating and dining table and chairs. Mood lighting makes it a great nighttime hang out for dining and moon gazing. The front yard has a nice sitting area with a fire pit. Marshmallows are provided! The house is perfectly situated for exploring the myriad of nearby attractions. Niantic Village boasts a great selection of restaurants and charming shops. They’re also many events throughout the year. If you’re coming with children, there’s no shortage of family activities from amusements to children museums. Local venues offer a variety of music and theater including the Niantic Theater Company and The Kate. Local farms keep us supplied with incredible fresh produce and the local farmers market is right in town. If you can tear yourself away from the deck, a short walk out the door is the neighborhood boat launch. We provide 4 kayaks for your use or bring your own. We are at the head of the river looking out to the Niantic bay and bridge. Just up the river you will find a few dockside seafood restaurants/bars. We are a few minutes drive from 4 beaches and we provide chairs, cooler, umbrellas and boogie boards. The kitchen is very well equipped with waffle iron, lobster pot, wine, glasses, cocktail, glasses, ninja , blender, extensive selection of utensils, and pots and pans for meal preparation. Other things to note The couch/futon in the den area is not a high-quality bed. Therefore, if there is a fifth person that may or may not be suitable. Youngsters and teens should be OK or possibly a laid-back adult but it’s good to know that it is a pull out futon type bed. During July and August, we booked Saturday to Saturday.
