Read a book, sketch the countryside, listen to music or just simply do nothing. At Hillview Cottage you can slow down and allow yourself the pleasure of time. The space Step inside to discover a cottage full of period features and rustic charm. The living room beckons with a crackling fireplace, perfect for warming chilly evenings full of atmosphere. Charming features adorn the cottage such as coloured glass windows, tongue and groove walls milled of local teak and beautiful bay windows. The fully equiped country kitchen is the heart of the home. Enjoy the simple pleasure of time to cook and have a conversation with loved ones gathered around the kitchens farmhouse table. Whilst embracing the charm of yesteryear, the kitchen comes equiped with the convenience of a coffee machine. As the sun sets, retreat to the covered veranda and soak in views of the valley and farmland. Sip on a glass of wine as you watch the cows graze lazily in the distance, embracing the tranquil rhythms of rural life. There are three cozy bedrooms sleeping up to six guests. Of the three bedrooms, two have plush king beds, one of which can become singles and the third bedroom has a queen-sized bed and is accessed from the covered veranda (this room is not suitable for younger children). All the beds are dressed in luxurious quality linen sheets, from brand I Love Linen—a simple pleasure that is a true luxury. Unwind after a day of exploring the hinterland in the luxurious embrace of a vintage cast iron bathtub, a delightful nod to yesteryear's elegance. The bathroom is accessed from the verandah and is undercover access. Conveniently located just five minutes from Clunes, the cottage offers easy access to quaint shops and local delights. Nature enthusiasts will delight in nearby rainforest walks, while the vibrant towns of Bangalow and Byron Bay are just a short drive away, promising endless exploration and entertainment. Just so your aware the farms road in from the street does access another property however unless the farmer is getting out their tractor from the nearby shed no one comes near the cottage. Other things to note The third queen bedroom has connected and covered verandahs on both sides but is not internally connected to the inside rooms of the house. In other words you have to go outside the living room door and right next to this door is the bedroom door. Being an original rustic cottage, the bathroom is also accessed from the verandah so you do have to go out the living room door to go to the bathroom. Registration Details PID-STRA-64456
