There are many things to do in and around Puerto Vallarta 🌴so here are just a few of my favorites: A beautiful short bus ride just minutes down the road will bring you to the quaint yet famous Mismaloya beach town with several palapa restaurants and where Night of the Iguana was filmed featuring Richard Burton and directed by John Houston and as the romantic story goes..where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor fell in love or you can just enjoy a day on the water and charter a small inexpensive panga boat to take you to Yelapa and other beachside villages. Just a few minutes further will bring you to Boca an authentic Mexican beach town. You can also enjoy the many palapa restaurants on the beach or take a water taxi by the pier to safely explore. If you love floral and fauna or if you just want a leisurely afternoon luncheon than continue down the road to the Botanical Gardens one of the top 10 gardens in the the world and bring a swimsuit for a refreshing swim in the river..it’s a glorious adventure.
