The Doll House at Summer Winds

The Doll House is a cozy two story cabin on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island near Western Mountain in Acadia National Park. This unique cabin is just down the road from Seal Cove Pond and 1/4 mile from the Cape Road launch area and beautiful Seal Cove. Both are great places to kayak. Amenities include Television, wifi, washer, dryer, ironing board, iron, hair dryer. Friendly dogs are welcome. The sleeping area is upstairs and a shower bathroom is downstairs. The space The doll house is two stories with a bedroom loft upstairs and a compact kitchen living room with full bath downstairs and an outdoor deck. We recently installed a heat pump in the "cottage" which will provide heat and air conditioning for the comfort of our guests. Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves and the exclusive use of a washer and dryer in the basement of the main house which is approximately 75’ from the doll house. There is a garage between the two houses. Other things to note We are located on "The Quiet Side" of MDI about 6 miles from Southwest Harbor via the Seal Cove-SWH road. We are about 35 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. We charge a pet fee for every stay.
