Description
Welcome to Twice Blessed, Ouyen - our home away from home. The residence is nestled between two churches - the original brick Presbyterian Church built in 1922 and the wooden Methodist Church built in 1913 and relocated to this site in 1964. The property is conveniently located in central Ouyen, a short walk to all the town's amenities including supermarket, club, pub, bakery, butcher, lake, golf course, tennis courts and newly established community gym. The space The space is thoughtfully styled with many original artworks by my mother and various new and vintage finds collected over time to complement. The bedrooms boast quality 100% linen carefully selected for your comfort. You’ll find the fully equipped kitchen stocked with considered basics, including Mallee Roasters coffee (roasted with love by us at our coffee roastery in neighbouring town Piangil) and espresso coffee machine. Other kitchen essentials include local wine, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tea, instant coffee, sugar, long life milk and a variety of breakfast cereals. The bathroom with washing machine for your convenience and provisions for a bath which we hope you can enjoy on your next visit. The shower is on the smaller side, but it does the job. Outside you'll find a webber BBQ, table and chairs under a sheltered area - perfect for an evening of alfresco dining. Bedroom 3 double bed is a top bunk. This project has been a labour of love (and hard work). We hope to next improve the streetscape and backyard. This creation will take time (much longer than 6 days and rest on the 7th) and we trust there will be many improvements when you next visit.
