The living room and fully equipped kitchen are also air-conditioned and seamlessly open to the covered terrace and saltwater pool, offering the perfect blend of shared and private spaces. Additional amenities include fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a spacious laundry room, a covered carport, and an outdoor shower for post-beach refreshment. For your peace of mind, the entire house is equipped with a sediment and carbon filter, UV water treatment system, and water softener. Guest access At Árbol de la Vida, we warmly welcome you to our home. During your stay, you'll have full access to the house, a private saltwater pool, and our expansive two-acre property. Take a leisurely stroll through our lush food forest, where you're invited to pick and enjoy a variety of fresh fruits, including bananas, papayas, plantains, dwarf coconuts, mangoes, avocados, moringa, citrus, and more. Each rainy season, we expand the forest’s diversity by planting additional fruit and indigenous trees. For a truly unforgettable experience, unwind at sunset by the community pool, offering the most breathtaking views in the entire development. Relax, explore, and savor the natural abundance of our retreat. Other things to note Our house has an extensive filtration and water softener system. The nearest airport to Marbella is Guanacaste Airport (LIR) | Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport, approximately 89 km away (a 1.5-hour drive). Marbella is a rural and remote area in Guanacaste Province, offering an authentic Costa Rican cultural experience. Tamarindo is about 40 minutes north, while Guiones/Nosara is 30 minutes south. Once you enter the gated development, the roads become well maintained dirt and gravel roads leading to the house. Although the development roads are well-maintained, we strongly recommend a 4WD or SUV, especially if you plan to explore further south to Nosara and beyond. Weather conditions can impact road quality, so an AWD or 4WD vehicle is ideal for traveling to our home and around Costa Rica. Located on the North Pacific Coast, Marbella is a quiet jungle-surf beach community teeming with wildlife such as howler monkeys, exotic birds, iguanas, and other native species. Insects are also part of the ecosystem, so we advise keeping screens closed, particularly at night when lights attract them. The area offers a variety of activities, including charter fishing, ATV tours or rentals, snorkeling, yoga, horseback riding, and special events like local rodeos, the Marbella farmers market, and fútbol (soccer) games. Marbella Beach is renowned for its excellent surf breaks, and we highly recommend visiting Tiki Hut for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and stunning sunsets.
