The space Welcome to our newly renovated holiday home “Eendje Huis” located in the picturesque surroundings of North Holland, situated within the charming park 't Zijper Eilant in Oudesluis. The name of the house comes from the duck couple which visits the garden regularly and always appreciates a small snack. Soak up the sunshine and enjoy lazy afternoons in our spacious private garden or terrace, complete with comfortable furniture for your relaxation. An electric grill is also provided for your convenience, perfect for delightful outdoor barbecues. Take advantage of the park's outdoor swimming pool or spend quality time in the playground area. Should you bring along any equipment such as bikes or kites, feel free to store them in the garden house. Explore the wonders of the region effortlessly; just a short 10-minute drive by car or a scenic 25-minute bike ride from Oudesluis will lead you to the stunning beaches of Callantsoog and Groote Keeten, both offering charming beachside restaurants (free parking available). During the tulip season (April - May), immerse yourself in the vibrant hues of numerous tulip fields, starting right beyond the village. Enjoy shopping opportunities in Anna Paulowna (4 km) or Schagen (8 km) where you can also experience local restaurants and bars. The house is perfectly located for day trips to historical cities such as Alkmaar or den Helder. You can also rent a equipment for kiting or windsurfing and even a sailing boat on the Ijsselmeer (a great spot for beginners) or in Callantsoog. Alternatively, you can easily reach the island Texel for a bike trip and to enjoy Texel beer. Even Amsterdam is not out of you reach either by car (1h) or by train from Schagen (trains go also during the night). Our holiday home accommodates up to 6 guests. It features two distinct bedrooms—one on the ground floor with a queen-sized bed (160x200cm, bed sheet 160x200cm required), and the other on the first floor with a king-sized bed (180x200cm, bed sheet 180x200cm required). Additionally, our gallery offers a comfortable sleeping sofa (140x200cm, bed sheet 140x200cm required), accommodating up to two guests. The house features a living room with an open kitchen, fully equipped with all necessary appliances and kitchen tools for convenient cooking, including a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. For your convenience, we provide access to a washing machine and an iron, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. Entertainment is at your fingertips with two TVs, a Wii, and a karaoke set available for your enjoyment. Digital nomads will appreciate the cozy workspace on the gallery, offering a serene view of the garden and the water channel. Private parking is available free of charge directly in front of the house. Please note that we kindly ask guests to bring their own towels and bed linen (180x200cm; 160x200cm; 140x200cm), as a cleaning service during your stay is not available.
