Atypical barge on the Deûle, near Lille

Spending a few nights on board, in our somewhat bohemian world, will allow you to disconnect, while remaining a little urban. An art gallery is our direct neighborhood! Close to Lille, 9 km, with a direct bus from Lille Flandre station, or the TER in 20 minutes. Haubourdin train station is 10 minutes from the barge. Shops are within walking distance. Enjoy the ducks and water hens while watching the other boats pass by. The space A former school barge, we have transformed our boat into accommodation since 2010. We regularly live on board, as a family. This year, we decided to rent the 2 bedrooms of the front accommodation, the living room and its wood-burning stove, the dining room. We keep the back and cockpit for our private use. The kitchen will be shared with our guests, but we will be discreet. The bathroom with toilet is for the private use of visitors. The outdoor spaces (garden furniture, deckchairs, table) are available to our guests. We are in an urban environment, with neighbors. No parties on board. Guest access Be careful, access to a houseboat is difficult! There are many small stairs, changes in levels. People with reduced mobility will not be able to access the accommodation.
