The space Key features of our eco-friendly cabin include: • Off-grid living with a small solar power system and sustainable water sources and compost toilet • Fully self-contained with a kitchen and comfortable living space • Breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside from every angle • Private outdoor area for relaxation and enjoying nature's beauty • Located less than 2hrs from Brisbane • Proximity to amenities such as grocery stores, and local attractions Although the cabin can sleep 4 (using a fold out couch) it is really only suited to 2 occupants. If booking for two guests that require separate beds please notify me at the time of booking or by message at least a day prior to arrival. Please be aware that although I have tried to make the cabin comfortable with everything guest should need, it isn't the same as a city hotel so lacks some of the city luxuries. The cabin power system is not suitable for charging E Vehicles or running high powered devices (such as electric heaters). Guest access Suitable for all vehicles. Bitumen road access all the way to gravel parking area. Other things to note If you require firewood for the fire-pit, it can be purchased locally from the side of the road or you are free to pick up dead-fall sticks branches on the property. If you would like firewood provided for you, this can be arrange for you at a cost (same cost as buying it locally from the side of the road, approx. $15 per bag). This will need to be arranged at least a few days prior to your arrival. The cabin uses off-grid power. This works differently to city/on-grid power. This will mean that you may need to adapt the way you would normally do things, such as when cooking dinner (only use one electrical cooking device at a time). The system is not large enough to support charging E Vehicles. But don't worry, you won't run out of power. The cabin has an automatic generator if the sun hasn't been shinning or you use too much power at once it will automatically turn on to support the cabin's power needs. The cabin has a compost toilet. This is different to a flushing toilet and relies on the natural composting process to break down human waste. It doesn't smell, but it does need compost material (human waste) for it to work. So it may have some compost material in it when you go to use it. While the cabin is in a private space the host may at times need to access the orchard and the area near the laundry as part of the property and garden maintenance. Please don't pick the fruit in the orchard. The property has 2 cats living on it please just shoo them away nicely if they try enter the cabin. Please don't lock/let them inside.
