Temporary Refuge - Siribinha Beach - Ground Floor
Description
In the heart of Bahia's north coast, away from the crowds, lies a charming fishing village. Siribinha is a hidden refuge, with a single sandy street, where colorful houses intertwine between the beach and the river. Built on dunes and surrounded by coconut trees and pristine beaches, this small community offers a unique landscape, full of tranquility and delicious seafood. The space If your search is for quiet and lush nature by the sea, Siribinha is the perfect destination. Situated near the border with Sergipe, this village is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy the natural environment during the day and, at night, relax to the sound of the waves, under a starry sky. Here, you won't find bustling bars or the famous axé shows that mark the summer in Bahia. Siribinha is one of the few refuges of the north coast for those seeking a calmer summer, with deserted and quiet beaches. The extensive strip of flat sand is perfect for those who enjoy diving in the open sea or for relaxing walks at sunset. However, it is in Barra de Siribinha that there is the most breathtaking view and the best sea bath in the region. If you want, you can take a 2 km walk by the beach until you reach Barra, a meeting point between the municipalities of Conde and Jandaíra. In the meeting of the river with the sea, the calm and brackish waters are ideal for a refreshing bath, while the simple beach stalls offer visitors food and drink. The setting is so beautiful that it has already been used as a location for the film *Tieta do Agreste*. The Itapicuru River is also one of the great attractions of the region. In addition to being excellent for fishing, it provides locals with a source of income and offers leisurely walks to tourists. By boat, it is possible to explore the natural ports of the region and navigate the canals and arms of the river. In some stretches, the mangrove forms tunnels through which only small vessels can pass. One of the most sought after tours is the one that leads to the Russian Horse, a dune approximately 30 meters high. There, visitors have fun gliding through the fine white sand until they fall into the fresh waters of the river. There is the locality of Cajueirinho, a freshwater spring located at the base of a cashew tree. For lovers of seaside walks, there is the option to cross the river by boat and continue walking or buggy by sand to the beach of Costa Azul, which is 14 km away. For the more adventurous, it is possible to reach Mangue Seco, a beach that is 42 kilometers from Barra de Siribinha, which is the mouth of the Itapicuru River, 3 km from the headquarters of Siribinha.
