The space This Queen Anne style home, circa 1918, is located on over an acre of mixed lawn and garden, bordering a large woodland. The property sits elevated with an expansive view of the Lahave River estuary. Original details, including a solid oak staircase and spruce floors, add to its charm. Find the best of both worlds - a rural setting, and the doorstep to the Town of Bridgewater for all conveniences. Centrally located for sightseeing and touring in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and several spectacular beaches. We provide wellness services onsite. You may optionally book a massage for an extra fee, pending availability. This is a peaceful and relaxing home, and we welcome you! Guest access You have access to your own private riverview room on the second floor. Enter from the front door into a generous foyer, where a 2-course breakfast is served daily. Take the original oak staircase, to the large upstairs hall, where you find your room and a sparkling clean private en-suite bathroom. During your stay We are here to help! We love the South Shore of Nova Scotia, so we are pleased to give tips for touring and activities. We reply to your messages as soon as possible. Your privacy is respected, so we we’ll take your lead on interactions. We speak English and Vietnamese fluently. Other things to note A desk and chair are available if you need. There is fast reliable high speed internet and a power bar for devices. An energy efficient heat pump system keeps your room comfortable. Heat/AC maintain the temperature and keep humidity low for a good night’s sleep. Because we offer wellness services on site, we ask that the entry, foyer, and stairs be quiet and relaxing areas between the hours of 11am and 7pm. We are located on a Trunk Road, which is part of the scenic Lighthouse Route. During the day, cars travel along this road to and from Lunenburg. There are few to no cars at night during the majority of our quiet hours. Our cat, Vera, lives in a completely separate part of the home. Your room, the hallways, the dining area, and the entryway are all cat-free spaces. The cat also does not go outside, so you will not encounter her. On occasion, you may hear her quietly mewing or playing, otherwise she sleeps most of the time. Please note there are no laundry or kitchen services available.
