Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage. The typical Normandy longere is located in a small village, facing the fields. It offers the ultimate holiday, with its closeness to beaches, beautiful walks, good food, and in a peaceful and tranquil environment. The space The cottage is our second home and is lovingly furnished with carefully selected furniture, including antique and designer pieces. The property consists of: Living room with a cosy sitting area and a large fireplace Dining area sitting 6, Stokke Tripp Trapp and baby chair available Fully equipped newly renovated kitchen (fridge and freezer, Rangemaster stove and double oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, tableware, cutlery, French press for coffee, Vitamix mixer, coffee, basic spices, e.g., salt and pepper) Basic, fully functioning bathroom with bathtub and toilet. Mixed use area serving as an entrance area with a wardrobe and a playroom for kids, with toys, puzzles and games, and a pull-out sofa. The area upstairs features three sleeping areas with limited privacy (two are open plan with no doors, and one with a door) - Area 1: one queen size bed (160 cm) - Area 2: four single beds (80cmx200cm each) - Area 3: one queen size bed (160 cm) Very basic, fully functioning guest toilet upstairs. The property also includes a sauna. Garden: Fully fenced 2,000 sqm garden, barrel sauna, fire pit, Weber BBQ, hammock, garden furniture (dining table, garden bench, and chairs), trampoline, kids mud kitchen, newly planted fruit trees, and a herb garden which guests are welcome to use. Parking available on premises. The cottage is about 20 min drive to the closest beach, 45 minute drive to Etretat, 30 minutes to the river Seine, and 15 minute drive to Lac de Caniel. The area has a lot to offer: hiking, cycling and mountain biking, swimming, abundance of seafood, beautiful beaches, farmer markets, kid friendly farms, playgrounds, climbing park, pony riding, and a couple of 1-star restaurants, to name a few. Please note that there is no TV, microwave, or washing machine at the house.
