BBQ grill, games, Wi-Fi, TV, fully equipped kitchen, and all the amenities you might need The space This is a Costa Rican cabaña located in a secluded neighborhood of La Fortuna yet close to everything you might need (supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, etc.) only 12 MINS DRIVE from downtown and main tourist attractions, allowing you to experience the authentic Tico lifestyle. The property counts with two bedrooms equipped with A/C, hangers. There is free WiFi, and bathrooms on each floor with hot water. There is a kitchen fully equipped: a gas stove, mini oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, plates, cups, etc, and of course a barbecue area. A private pool with a waterfall is ready for your enjoyment. Tap water is potable. There are some free games for your entertainment. Two full-sized beds in the bedrooms can accommodate 4 people, and there is also a sofa bed that can fit 2 personas. Any additional persona after 5 people will pay $20 extra per night, a maximum of 6 people. The cabin and pool are surrounded by a forested area full of beautiful plants and trees, in a clear day the Arenal Volcano can be seen from the balcony, also some animals can be spotted (birds, garrobos, iguanas, etc. even sloths if you are lucky). The entire property is available for our guests, yes all of it. NO COMMOM AREAS TO SHARE. You can use the games we left and our beautiful pool just for you. There is plenty of free parking space in our property. Other things to note 📍 LOCATION The house is not downtown; it’s a 12-minute drive to La Fortuna and about 30 minutes to Arenal Volcano National Park. The last 3 blocks to the property are on a short, well-maintained unpaved road, accessible with any type of vehicle. --- 🕒 CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check-in starts at 2:00 PM. Early check-in is not possible, but if the cabin is ready before 2:00 PM, we’ll gladly let you know so you can settle in earlier. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Depending on availability, we may extend your check-out time at no extra cost. Self check-in is simple: you’ll receive a PIN to open the lockbox and collect the keys. Ask us for more details. --- 🧹 CLEANING & MAINTENANCE The cabin will be spotless when you arrive. Daily cleaning is not included, but you may request it for $10 per service. Fresh linens, towels, and pillows are provided for your stay. Gardening or pool maintenance may take place during your visit — we’ll always keep you informed. Parties are allowed, but please lower the volume after 10:00 PM to respect our neighbors. --- 🚗 GETTING AROUND Renting a car is highly recommended. La Fortuna—and San Carlos in general—is quite spread out, so most places require a short drive rather than a walk. The house is in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by nature, which means restaurants, local sodas, and shops are not within walking distance. However, downtown La Fortuna is only a 12-minute drive away, with plenty of options ranging from traditional Costa Rican sodas and affordable eateries to cafés, supermarkets, and fine dining restaurants. Uber is available, although drivers in rural areas may sometimes take a bit longer to arrive. We also recommend downloading the La Fortuna area on Google Maps for offline navigation before your trip. --- 📶 WI-FI The connection speed is 40 Mbps (download & upload), ideal for streaming, calls, messaging, gaming (ping < 30 ms), and most work needs (except heavy data transfers). --- 🐾 PETS We love welcoming furry friends! A small pet fee applies to cover the extra cleaning required after their stay, it’s a very fair fee. During your visit, we kindly ask you to take care of a couple of simple things with your pet, nothing out of the ordinary.
