Secret garden hideaway Barn, Neasham

The Barn is in the private grounds of Neasham Hill Lodge that sits on a hill at the edge of Neasham village surrounded by a cluster of 4 other properties. Perfectly suited for guests who want peace and privacy. We have beautiful walks right here and mostly right by the river Tees that snake all over this leafy backwater. The space The barn has a ground floor lobby for boots and coats etc. The fridge is there too. The living space upstairs is open plan comprising of a sitting room, bedroom, kitchen and an en suite bathroom. There are two directors chairs by the front door if you want to sit out. You can also use the entire garden including the garden room if you wish. Guest access The main entrance from the road is through the black iron gate where it says ‘Neasham Hill Lodge’. If the gate is shut just pull back the bolt and push it open. The barn is straight ahead up a small incline and the entrance is the door on the right where it says ‘The Barn’. The key to open the door is from the little key safe above the big planter left of the door. There is ample private parking. Other things to note Walkers and cyclists go past our gates following the Tees Way which goes from the source of the river in Teesdale, all the way to the sea. There are lots of walks straight from the barn including a great river walk with an excellent gastro pub halfway along the walk, at the Devonport, Middleton St George. There’s a nice pub in the village that serves food which is just half a mile away. It sits right on the river and will cater for all your needs. Also there are great gastro pubs and cafes in Hurworth, just a mile away. Further afield there are beautiful historic towns like Barnard Castle and Richmond. Further still there are stunning locations like Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale, North York Moors and sea locations like Saltburn and Staithes by the Sea.
