The doors open onto a patio that overlooks the forest. Our guests tell us they have the best night sleep with only birds and a distant sound of the river. Guest access The Cottage and 4 acres of land including an Old Cornish Orchard. This is an ancient Tin, Coper and more recently China Clay mining valley, it’s a World Heritage Site (same status as Stone Henge). We would love to show you around our property which includes off grid power hydro and solar, old water tanks and an underground tunnel. Do let know if this interests you. There are also incredible walks into the Luxulyan valley with its viaduct, leats, old disused water wheel all on your doorstep. Other things to note We are happy to pick up guests from Par station and provide a taxi service to the local area during your stay, for a small fee. We have recently (Dec 2024) completely redesigned the bathroom, think posh hotel! Office space wise we have removed the desk from The Hidden Cottage and added a sofa. If you would like a desk to be able to work we would be happy to move things around and add a desk and comfy office chair. The WiFi is great so it’s a fab place to work from, while enjoying the amazing environment. Just let us know in advance so we can arrange for a desk/chair to be moved back in.
