Should your party be larger in size than 12 guests, enquire with the host for details of availability and pricing Each Treehouse has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 Guests each: 1 x king size bedroom 1 x twin bedroom (2 x single beds) 1 x double cabin bed (adult size) INDOOR GROUP DINING & GATHERING BARN Large groups love having somewhere everyone can come together — and our indoor communal barn provides exactly that (images 52, 53 & 54). With banquet-style tables, warm lighting and rustic stone walls, it’s ideal for group meals, celebrations, board games and evening drinks away from the elements. A practical, atmospheric space that makes safari-lodge stays work beautifully for birthdays, reunions and special occasions. HEN PARTIES Groups of respectful hens who agree to our house rules are very welcome at Longlands Devon. We receive many enquiries from future brides and having hosted many in the past, we find they are always respectful. THE LOCAL AREA / ACTIVITIES For Guests looking to undertake activities during their stay, we are happy to introduce you to local suppliers: Wine tasting activity at Longlands Devon. £20 per person and that would be to try 3 reds, 3 whites, 2 rose or 2 types of beers. We can also recommend excellent hiking trails in Exmoor National Park, as well as mountain biking, rock climbing and abseiling, as well as hang gliding at Woolacombe Beach or team challenges. Whatever adventure you are looking for, North Devon has it all. For younger children, you will find Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo within very close proximity to Longlands Devon, as well as Theme Parks such as The Big Sheep, The Milkyway Adventure Park, and Watermouth Castle. For those who are looking for more of a relaxed experience, we can also recommend yoga, meditation and breathwork practitioners, as well as massage therapists. Longlands Devon is located just 15 minutes from Woolacombe Beach, voted the Best Beach in Britain, and 10 minutes from Combe Martin Beach. Illfracombe Beach and Harbour, as well as Lynton & Lynmouth are located only 15 minutes from Longlands Devon and are both wonderful places to visit. LONGLANDS RESORT The Longlands Devon Holiday Resort can sleep up to 50 Guests in total (Farmhouse = 20 Guests + 5 x Safari Lodge Treehouses, each sleeping 6 Guests). The 17 acre resort consists of beautifully landscaped grounds which include a lake for wild swimming and rowing, a woodland with streamside walks, a cedar wood hot tub for hire positioned on its own private deck overlooking the lake and an amenity field for lawn games. Whilst Airbnb reference the Wild Swimming Lake as a "pool" in amenities, please note swimming facilities at Longlands Devon are a Natural, Wild Swimming Lake, not a man made swimming pool. PRIVATE BBQ / FIREPIT Each Treehouse has it's own private BBQ / Firepit above the Treehouse which is free to use. STREAMSIDE AND WOODLAND ADVENTURES Step into a world of wonder with our gentle streamside and woodland walks, perfect for little explorers and grown-ups alike. Meander through dappled woodlands, where shallow, sparkling streams invite tiny toes to paddle and creative hands to build dams. Along the way, discover vibrant wildflowers, listen to the soothing trickle of mini waterfalls, and pause at our cozy picnic bench to soak in the serene views. These short, sheltered trails are ideal for young children, offering a safe and magical playground in nature’s embrace. LAWN GAMES We have a number of outdoor games. There is a football goal on the football field and a basketball and netball hoop, plus table tennis. CEDAR WOOD HOT TUB Positioned on its very own deck above the lake, immerse yourself in the warm waters of our 6 persons hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views over the lake, through the valley and down to the sea and the setting sun. The hot tub is situated on its own terrace, in the bank above the lake. It also has its own changing room and outdoor shower. As our hot tub is not a jacuzzi, the bubbles to enjoy are those in your sparkling wine. The warm water of our hot tub is calm, clear and quiet. Just perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our hot tub is for all guests in the resort to enjoy and can fit up to 6 people. Should you wish to book a Hot Tub Experience session, they are charged at £60 per hour (£10 per person based on 6 sharing). TREEHOUSES (SLEEPS 6) The large deck area at the front of the treehouse has comfortable furniture (seating 6) so you can sit back and enjoy the amazing views down the valley towards the sea and watch the sun set during the day. There is an even better view from the fire pit / BBQ platform. Each treehouse has its own private BBQ area above the lodge. There you will find a Kadai fire bowl for use as a fire pit or for BBQing and a picnic bench and table (seats 6) from which to enjoy the view. BBQ utensils provided, but not coals. Inside the treehouse and at its heart is the wood burning stove. This will keep the treehouse warm in colder weather, as well as provide a means of cooking, either on top as a hob or in its spacious oven compartment (there's even a slot for warming your plates). The kitchen is fully equipped with a 6 seater dining table, cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is also a sink and small cool box with ice bricks. Large fridge & freezer is located in the Entertainment Barn. Snuggle into a warm bed and under a thick duvet as this is glamping not camping :-) Be lulled to sleep by the babble of the stream, the wind in the trees, or the patter of rain on the canvas roof. Hear the owls calling to each other. Breathe in that fresh air and sleep soundly. Sweet dreams. Each Treehouse has a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and a Double Cabin Bed (adult size), sleeping up to six people. Also provided are hot water bottles and extra blankets to ensure you are warm whatever the weather. Each Treehouse has its own en-suite shower room and separate en-suite wash room with flushing loo and basin. Hot water for the shower, sink and basin is provided by a wood burning boiler, that also ensures the shower room is warm and cosy. We provide all the bath linen you should need, plus a gorgeous range of natural aromatherapy bathroom products, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash. Also provided are basic essentials such as loo paper and hand towels. In the Treehouse lounge you will find a three seater leather vintage chesterfield sofa where you can enjoy board games. The blanket box is filled with our favourite board games which you can enjoy whilst you bask in the warmth of the wood burner. Other things to note In terms of check in, the hosts will be on site to handover the keys and answer any questions you may have on arrival. Check in = 4pm Check out = 10am In terms of check out, there is no formal process, you simply exit the lodge. Cleaners will enter the lodges at 10am to start cleaning. PET FRIENDLY Your pets will be in heaven in one of our North Devon Safari Lodges. With the sea a short drive away, curling up in front of the fire or relaxing in a shady spot on the gated decking will be a treat at the end of the day. Maximum of 2 small dogs per lodge, £50 per dog. Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times. We have cats and ducks that roam the land. There are so many dog friendly pubs, beaches and gardens to explore. We provide a full list of dog friendly excursions in our Adventure Book. PARKING Parking is not permitted in front of the Lodges. After unloading, cars must be moved to the car park at the top of the hill (4 parking spaces). If guests have accessibility issues, please contact the host for further details. NOISE Please pack headphones if you plan on listening to music. Noise will travel, so in consideration of other guests we do not permit music to be played without them.
