Overlooking the majestic ridges of the Šumava and surrounded by the sounds of nature, the mountain cottage is the perfect retreat for those looking for an escape from the daily hustle and bustle. The space On the ground floor of the cottage there is a hall, from where you enter the living room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. There is a dining table and a double bed in the living room. From the hall, a staircase leads to the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has two double beds, the other two bedrooms have three beds each. Other things to note The cottage is equipped like a standard family home and the only thing that is not standard is the water. Only utility water is in the chalet, drinking water I get from the mountain stream. The mountain stream flows ten meters from the cottage, and the water from it is drinkable and very tasty. I fill it in five liter barrels when it’s not after raining. This stream flows into the Úhlava River where drinking water for the entire city of Pilsen is taken from it. I live in Pilsen and I usually bring a barrel of water from the mountain stream with me from the chalet because it tastes better. The chalet has piped water from the same stream, but it is not fresh because it is stored in a reservoir. The tourist tax is 20 CZK/person/day.
