The property sits snugly between the great PACIFIC OCEAN and vast stretches of RICE FIELDS, with a view of the awe-inspiring BULUSAN VOLCANO in the horizon. The Turingan loft is on the third floor of our BALINESE-INSPIRED home, within a 2,000 square meter fenced property. It's the first finished guest structure, with the swimming pool and music studio soon to follow. The portion of the property under construction is enclosed for your privacy. Entering the gate, you'll see the Main House ahead. The NATURAL DIPPING POOL at the bottom of the staircase is shared by all guests. Upstairs, the second floor DINING, AND KITCHEN AREA is a large central area with a high ceiling shared by guests on the second level. Turingan Loft features 3 QUEEN SIZED beds placed on the floor, and comfortably sleeps 6 guests. It also has a work space for two. Past the staircase leading to the third floor, the SHELL BATHROOM is a spacious bathroom with road and rice field views. This bathroom is shared by the Malasugi Room and Turingan Loft guests. The third floor lofts are open to the downstairs, and as such, any noise in the kitchen or living room can be heard in the lofts. The BATALAY loft features wide sofas for lounging, a large LED TV for binge watching on Netflix, and a study desk if you're feeling productive, the perfect balance of work and relaxation. The living room, kitchen, and dipping pool at the bottom of the stairs are shared with other Baia Nest guests. >ROAM FREELY: The property is fenced in, so guests and animals can roam freely. Just avoid the Main House Lanai, Turingan Loft, and Malasugi Room if you haven't booked them. >SHARED SPACES: The Shell Bathroom past the staircase to the third floor is shared by guests staying in the Malasugi room or Batalay loft. >ENTERTAINMENT: Books, games, and Netflix are available for your enjoyment. >FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN: The kitchen includes all everything you need to cook up a feast, except for a microwave oven. Enjoy the complimentary self-service breakfast with our very own sourdough bread, peanut butter with cacao, fresh fruit, eggs and a special blend of the best local coffee from Mindanao. Our Onsite MANAGER JB, will also be around during work hours. Feel free to approach him for any assistance you might need. Ate Nicel, Ate Doris and Ate Vilma Santos make up our HOUSEKEEPING staff, and are always eager to share helpful knowledge about Gubat, their home town. Our SECURITY GUARD is also always happy to help you with your vehicles as you enter and exit. Guests will be delighted to meet our adorable FURRY FRIENDS: two lovely poodles, a playful labradoodle, and five quirky cats. Please take care not to let them run into the street when entering or exiting our front gates. Other things to note THINGS TO CONSIDER: >You may encounter farm wildlife such as field mice, insects, and reptiles. >Occasional power outages within the province can occur. >SOME LEAKS may happen from the native roof after heavy rain. >The cottage uses only ELECTRIC FANS for additional cooling and no AC. >PARKING is available streetside outside the property. >Some areas may be under CONSTRUCTION during the day. >PETS allowed after an approval process, with a P500 pet fee. >Extra charges may be applied for special requests such as early check in or late check out. >A MOTORBIKE and MINIVAN are available for rent. You might also spot farm animals like field mice, insects, turtles, and reptiles. PARKING: Our driveway within the property can only accommodate two cars, or one vehicle for each room, as we are still constructing the carport. If these slots are taken, guests will have to park their vehicles by the road outside the property. CONSTRUCTION AND BROWNOUTS: Baia Nest is a work in progress. We are currently building our pool, and you may see construction from the Lamadang bathroom. We'll minimize noise for our guests. Occasional whole-day brownouts (6am-6pm) may occur. Our small generator powers the refrigerator and Wi-Fi but not the water pump simultaneously. We'll coordinate with you during these times. DOORS AND WINDOWS The central room and Loft doors and windows are still being crafted by our carpenter. These will be installed little by little, so expect that there may be some missing doors and windows during your stay. BEDS The beds are on the floor, as seen in the pictures. We are working towards having bed frames, but the doors and windows come first! ANIMALS AND PETS: Guests with pets should coordinate with us before arrival. Pets are allowed after a short approval process along with a pet fee. Pets need proper introduction to our Baia Nest animals. Our dogs are not usually friendly to strange cats. Being next to the rice fields, you may encounter farm wildlife such as field rats, insects, and reptiles. MEALS AND SWIMMING: While our Nests are self-service, you can hire a local cook or kitchen assistant for meal preparation. Ask us for the menu and costs based on group size and number of meals. No lifeguards are present, so swim at your own risk. Be aware of currents and wave conditions before entering the water. DISCOUNTS AND DAYTIME GUESTS: Enjoy discounts for stays of 2 nights or more. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to an extra day! A daytime guest fee of P500 per guest applies. Please inform us if you'll be entertaining guests in our Nest. NOISE AND REBOOKING: Our house is beside the road. Expect street sounds and fish vendors at 6 AM. Fiesta sounds may travel across the rice fields to our house a few days a year. We do not allow rebooking less than 2 weeks before your stay, in line with our firm cancellation policy. CLEANING AND SHEET CHANGES: Cleaning and sheet changes are conducted every 3 days for longer stays. Daily sheet changes can be arranged for an extra fee. VEHICLES FOR RENT.
