Welcome to Illawong which means between two waters, a place to relax with the family. This peaceful place to stay is a one-minute drive to the boat ramp, enjoying tidal flats to explore, calm waters for boating or kayaking. The coal mines are rich in convict history, take a drive further down the road and head to Lime Bay Camping grounds or Sloping Main. We are 20 minutes to Nubeena and 40 minutes to Port Arthur, Three Capes Walk, Tasman Peninsula Mountain Bike Trails and much more. The space We have a large lounge room with a cozy wood heater or an air conditioner if you would rather. We have plenty of board games in the buffet cabinet for ages from 4-99 for all the family to enjoy. Our bedrooms are cozy with a Queen and a Double bed. The kitchen has all you would need to make a meal. You can relax on the deck listening to the native birds and surrounding sounds in this quiet little part of the Tasman Peninsular, the water is clean and clear for boating or swimming and low tide uncovers acres of sand flats ideal for long walks with your dogs. Take a walk around to the Coal Mines. Plenty of room to back the boat and a 1-minute walk or drive to the boat ramp. Borrow the 2 kayaks and paddle quietly around the bay enjoying the peaceful surrounds You will not have access to the large shed. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, there will be no access to the large shed. There is plenty of space to relax, a well-functioning kitchen and cozy beds to surrender into sleep each night. There are two entrances, the back has 3 steps to the deck and 1 small step from the entry way to the kitchen. Other things to note It is advisable to buy groceries and petrol in Sorell on your way through. Whilst there are shops in Nubeena they do not have extended hours. Please note, we don't have: - a dishwasher - a cot or highchair for babies (you are more than welcome to bring your own) Registration Details DA 017/2024
