Unique bunkhouse accommodation with design funk in a rural setting on a little horse farm. We are only 5 miles from downtown Stowe but it is out of the hustle and bustle tucked on a dead end dirt road where it’s actually dark at night and you can see the stars. The kitchen has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker: perfect for your breakfast and packing a lunch. We bet you might want to go out for dinner at one of the many amazing places there are within 5 miles from The Bunkhouse. The space The barn Bunkhouse is a quiet property and perfect for an active stay in the area. 450 sq. ft./ two level kitchenette, cafe table, bathroom with shower on the first level and upstairs a comfy queen bed and pair of club chairs. If you’re into biking or hiking we are right in the middle of it here in Sterling Valley. We can even assist in route-planning if you’d like some ideas! Stowe MT Resort is about 12 miles away. Relax in the chairs on the covered porch whole watching the horses below. Great food options in Morrisville or Stowe, we are equidistant from the two. Bakeries, breweries, burgers… all the things. Come enjoy a unique property and a little bit of farm life. Cowboy the pony has the best nicker in the morning! Please note: we live in an area where it is all dirt roads. They are well maintained by the town. Four wheel drive is not necessary but winter tires are a must. Also: We do everything we can to respect the peace and quiet in the morning on our property (we realize you're on vacation and may want to sleep in !). However, we are a seize-the-day kinda place and have horses to feed, bikes to ride and mountains to climb/ski. Please expect a certain level of activity here as the norm. :-) Guest access The Bunkhouse covered porch has two chairs and a small table in for your enjoyment. Feel free to walk down to the barn to say hi to the horses during daylight hours. The fence is hot and please don’t go inside the paddock.
