Ottar House

Ottar house is located right by Skjervøy Fiskecamp and Skjervøy nursing home. Short distance to hiking trails, mountains and the sea. It is approx. a 10 minute walk to grocery stores. Short distance to other services on the island. From November to January you can go on whale safari , and there are good fishing conditions. If you like to hike in the mountains, there are many facilitated hiking trails. The nearest town by car is Alta which is 206 km away. To Tromsø it is 243.6 km if you use E6 and E8. To the nearest airport in Sørkjosen it is 44.1 km. The space In 2023 the house was built up with an extension. The new build houses 1 bedroom, a new bathroom, 1 storage room and a hallway on the ground floor. On the second floor there are 2 new bedrooms. In total there are 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the house. In total there are 7 beds with the possibility of 1 extra bed. Kitchen new in 2023 Parts of the old building are somewhat refurbished and renewed . Parking for 2-3 cars in winter, and up to 4-5 cars during summer time. There is access to 1 electric car charger on the outside. Guest access The basement is not to be used by guests. Otherwise, the rest of the house can be used. Other things to note The key to the front door in the lockbox, the lockbox code is given to each guest before check-in.
