Picturesque & sea view "Våradonis" Södra Bruket

Södra Bruket is a unique place and many guests come back year after year! Södra Öland is especially appreciated by birdwatchers and families with children. The picturesque apartment is part of the historic alum factory. It is located directly adjacent to hiking trails, the geological garden and the beautiful pebble beach (bathrobe distance). Take a refreshing dip or enjoy the adorable and well-known sunset. It offers fantastic opportunities for both rest and adventure. Most welcome! The space The well-designed apartment is 44 sqm and has 2 rooms, toilet/shower and a small hall. The apartment is upstairs. In the combined bedroom and living room there is a double bed with room for two, sofa and TV. The window faces the front of the house. In the kitchen there is a pull-out sofa bed with sleeping space for two, a dining area and a kitchen with a dishwasher. The window in the kitchen faces the sea. The small apartment is perfect for two friends, a couple or a small family. The apartment is in a house from the early 1800s and there are a total of 5 apartments. All apartments are continuous with windows facing the sea and the front of the house. The house is charming with many details left. In some apartments there is a tiled stove and some have a wood-burning stove. Please note that these cannot be used The old house has peculiarities such as creaking beams, stairs and can be experienced as sensitive. This is part of the soul of the house :-) The other apartments are called Gullviva, Tussilago, Solvända and Ölandstok. Guest access There are several places with outdoor furniture around the house. You are free to use the place you want for the day. If you want to sit in the sun, you do it or if you want to sit in the shade, you do it. You get along with your neighbors in the house. There is room for everyone. The sea is just behind the house. So bring a blanket and sit down on the grass or the beach to watch the sunset or the sea. If the sea is calm one day, you may be lucky enough to see a seal peeking up. There is a possibility to borrow a barbecue. However, be sure to put out the fire after you and take responsibility for keeping the area around the grill clean. Other things to note You park your car at marked locations. There is also the possibility to park along parts of Alunbruksgatan. Please note that you cannot park right by the house as we strive to be car-free there for everyone's peace and quiet. Remember to bring your own sheets and towels. You clean yourself when you leave the apartment.
