Mount Pleasant is a cottage styled in vintage themes located on our sheep grazing property. We are two minutes from the Woodside township and ten minutes from the Ninety Mile Beach. The cottage is set on a rise and overlooks our farm where you can sit on the verandah and watch the sheep wander by! We are within half an hour from Yarram, Port Albert and Tarra Valley. The cottage has wood heating, wood supplied to last 2 days, Wifi, smart TV and air conditioning. The space Over the years we have fully renovated Mount Pleasant while still retaining the original feel. There are three bedrooms, the third bedroom being smaller but still accommodates a single bed. All bedrooms have portable heating , the main bedroom has a television. We have a bright sunroom for your morning cup of tea. Venture out to the front or back verandahs, enjoy the views and watch the world or the sheep pass by. The bathroom and laundry is combined and is stocked with quality consumables. Enjoy the wood fire in the cosy lounge with the modern convenience of a smart TV and streaming service, Britbox. The kitchen has gas cooking with everything you would need to be self catering with tea, coffee and milk supplied. Guest access The whole house and carport is available for use. Other things to note Due to safety reasons please refrain from visiting the shearing shed. Be aware that Mount Pleasant is a working farm and as such there is a dam and water trough close to the house. Please supervise children. There are steps leading from the carport to the house which may inhibit accessibility for some. The Woodside Pub is excellent and is open 7 days a week. It is a two minute drive into Woodside or they have a courtesy bus. Due to limitations on the septic system, we will not exceed five guests at any one time. Please note that there are times that we will be nearby checking sheep and stock water. There is plenty of room to park boats with the nearest boat ramp a 15 minute drive to McLaughlins Beach. Please limit the cooking of fragrant and aromatic foods. Our little cottage seems to hold the odours and is not pleasant for the next guests. Clean surfaces and cookware promptly and open windows. We will provide wood to last 2 days, subsequent loads available by request at a cost of $50 per load.
