This furnished apt is on the 2nd floor in the eight-unit apartment complex with a serene courtyard, located in a quiet neighborhood of the famous University Village. Restaurants, banks, and shopping center, buslines are within 5 minutes walking distance. Easy access to I-5. 10 min to get to down town normally; 20+min in rush hour. You can see from pictures that the hardwood floor in the living room and bedroom is newly refinished, there is also new wall paint, new vinyl floor in the bathroom and kitchen as well as a brand new toilet. The wool carpet, comforter, pillow are new. The 16 inches thick king size top pillow mattress is very comfortable. There is a kitchen, bathroom (either shower or bathtub), bedroom with built in closet and living room with built in coat closet. Plenty of shelves on the hallway between the bedroom to the living room. *Free Building WiFi *Free antenna TV *Free street parking or off street double parking at night if available. *Fully equipped kitchen *All of the windows are double pane new windows. *The comfy king size bed, Crate and Barrel sleeping sofa, and C & B long couch can accommodate total 6 people. *One guest parking space or street parking if that space is taken by another guest. For the building itself, there are total only 8 units here, some are UW faculty, some are graduate students or professionals. Total three units at this top floor, two neighbors are all quiet professional or UW students. McDonald, Subway, Papa Jones are just around the corner. There are also many other restaurant on the 25th ave and the U Village Shopping Center in walking distance. Guest access Covered Parking lot is $200 per month or $15 per day. Coin operated laundry room is downstairs with a code to get in . Close to: University of Washington Campus; Children's & University of Washington Hospitals; University Village Shopping Center; Magnuson Park; Lake Washington; easy walk to: PCC Natural Market, Metropolitan Market, Burke-Gilman Trail & multiple bus routes to downtown Seattle; easy 5 minute drive to I-5. there are beautiful sunset views in the evening, as well as views of Mt. Rainer, Lake Washington, the Cascades, & Mt. Baker on clear days as you walk through lovely residential neighborhoods. Activities: swimming & hiking at 350 acre Magnuson Park with its mile long stretch of Lake Washington shoreline; boating on 22 mile long Lake Washington (sail boat & kayak rentals available at Magnuson Park); walking & biking along 27 mile Burke Gilman Trail with biking/walking trail access to Magnuson Park, University Village Shopping Center; University of Washington campus & hospital; Children's Hospital; shopping & restaurants in Wallingford and Fremont neighborhoods. You can also rent one of my bikes for $5.00/a day and take the Burke Gilman trail to Lake Washington. Other things to note When turn on the TV, please manually press "on" button on the TV itself. The owner will pay for the water, sewer, electricity and solid waste. The tenant use electricity judiciously. For long term guests, If the electricity usage is over $60/mo (over 28 days) for one guest or over $80 for two guests, the guests will pay the difference. This is the way that we do not casually waste energy. Long term guests (over 28 days) due to its higher discounted rate than weekly or daily rental, need to purchase household consumable goods after the initial supplies are consumed. The cleaning fee is only for very basic cleaning like washing linens and make bed plus vacuum. For long stay, the cleaning fee is the basic cleaning fee multiply the # of months of reservation. If too filthy, we still charge extra cleaning cost for the rate of $35 per hour.
