A stylishly designed two-bedroom home, spanning two floors, that is located in the historical vibey area of De Waterkant, close to the city centre and an ideal location between Green Point with the Cape Town Stadium, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Conference Centre and below Signal Hill. The space This stylish terraced house, with two floors, has both air-conditioned bedrooms located on the ground floor. The main corridor, from the front door, connects these rooms with bedroom 1 facing Loader Street. This room has a desk workspace plus large walk-through wardrobe area leading to the en-suite. From here a further glass door accesses the internal courtyard that also connects to bedroom 2. The second bedroom, at the end of the corridor, has a compact en-suite. The main entertaining open plan area is located on the first floor, divided by wooden stairs with glass banister staircase and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooks the courtyard below. Modern in design, this area has a six-seater dining area, plus a separate toilet and fully fitted kitchen that opens onto the beautiful living area. Further sliding glass doors lead you to the wooden decked balcony with table and seating. The large roof terrace is reached by wooden steps from the balcony where there is further table, seating and sofa lounger, where you can enjoy views of the village, city and Signal Hill. We provide cleaning service twice during weekdays, with the exception of public holidays Towels and linen provided plus beach towels Reception is located at 40 Napier Street and open weekdays plus pre-arranged check-in’s This property has outdoor balcony and roof terrace areas and parents do need to supervise their kids at all times. Guest access The whole property is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay Other things to note PROPERTY INFORMATION We will send you a welcome email, 3 days before arrival, which will give you a load of helpful information including contact info. and links to the complete Property Digital Guide. Within the property there is also a hard-copy guide with QR links to the same Digital Guide and WiFi access. We kindly request you read any property signage that relates to AC, outdoor areas, pool and hot tub usage (if applicable). Cape Town can get pretty windy at times so please always take down umbrellas & wind in awnings, bring in all kitchenware and interior items from outdoor areas and please, only use black beach towels for outside. Unfortunately, any breakages or losses you will be charged for. We do thank you in advance for treating this property with care. Located in a residential area, close to the city centre, we want everyone to enjoy themselves and have a peaceful stay, alongside our neighbours, so please appreciate we do not allow parties, gatherings or events. We are sorry however we do not allow pets nor any smoking indoors. CLEANING This property is serviced, and our house-keeping team cleans weekdays, twice a week, with the exception of South African public holidays. Long-stay or discounted rates then only serviced once a week. Our team cleans between 10am and 5pm weekdays. If you have a particular time you prefer not to be disturbed we will try and work around this period if possible. Should you require not to be disturbed we can of course give you privacy for a day or so however we are responsible for this property and we have to access once a week. PROPERTY OCCUPANCY High and Low Season this property has a 1 to 2 person rate with persons 3 and 4 being charged at the additional person rate Peak Season full occupancy rate applies, whether 1 or 4 persons stay Only named guests, as per completed booking contract, can use the property. Maximum occupancy is as per listing. BOOKING PROCESS AirBnB does not provide us with important contact details so you will be asked for your direct email at time of booking so we can then email you our simple online booking contract. We do require you to complete and return this form at time of booking plus send I.D.'s for each guest booked, in advance of your arrival date. By making a booking you understand and accept these terms and we appreciate your understanding in this. CHECK-IN We do request that you inform us via the booking contract of your approximate arrival time. If your plans change at all, to the time you have told us on your booking contract, please let us know in advance during our reception times. Standard check-in at our reception 40 Napier Street Weekdays 2pm to 5.30pm Weekends/Public Holidays* 2pm – 3pm (*excludes 25th Dec & 1st Jan) Late check-in options If you are booking an airport transfer with us, and arriving after standard check-in times, then your driver will have a set of keys and take you directly to your property. If you are arriving in your own transport, outside our reception hours, then there are two check-in options that you will need to advise us of your choice in advance of your arrival date: Late Check-in A member of our staff will meet you at our reception to complete registration and personally take you to your property and show you around; a fee of R300 per arrival time will be applicable, paid in advance via a 3D Secure payment link we send. We will give you our out-of-hours/emergency mobile contact number half an hour in advance of your arrival so you can message with a more accurate time. Key Box We can arrange a key box, with one set of keys, to be picked up from our reception at 40 Napier Street; no fee applies. We will email you the box code on the day of your arrival during our reception hours. We do kindly ask all guests arriving late, using our airport transfer service or key box option, to come to reception the following working day for us to complete our registration; we can then provide further keys, a vehicle permit if required, plus any other information you need. CHECK-OUT Up to 10am; we can only confirm a late check-out the day before, sorry. A late check-out fee applies from 10am up to 4pm, thereafter a full daily rate applies if the property is available. We will send you a 3D Secure payment link that must be paid before 10am.
