Nestled in the heart of South East Queensland Scenic Rim, our cabin offers a unique getaway experience, surrounded by nature's beauty. The space Located approximately 90min drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the Border Ranges region of the Scenic Rim. Our fully self-contained cabin is hidden away down by the creek surrounded by Hoop Pines and nature on a 98-acre quiet grazing cattle farm. On your doorstep is numerous National Parks to explore and the township of Rathdowney is less than 10min drive away. Guests can take advantage of waking up to the magnificent views of Mount Chinghee while listening to the humming sounds of nature. After your days adventures you can relax in our luxurious soaking tub overlooking the creek, sit by the fireplace or wind down on the couch reading a novel or watching a movie. You may prefer to even sit out on the deck overlooking the creek and hearing the running water while you gaze up at the stars surrounded in beauty. Grassroots Rustic Luxury Cabin includes: - Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, electric oven with air fry, convectional microwave with air fry, toaster, kettle, standard size refrigerator and freezer, cooking utensils, baking trays and pizza tray, cutlery, wine glasses, (complimentary cooking oil, coffee, tea and milk) - Indoor combustible wood fireplace (Firewood provided) - Weber BBQ with utensils - Queen Bed - Separate bathroom which includes (Rain head or handheld hose shower, soaking bath tub, toilet, vanity) *Note: Bathroom is adjoined to deck outside of cabin, approx. 2m from cabin. - Essentials - Towels x4, bed linen (Quilt and Blanket included), toilet paper, kitchen and bathroom cleaning products, hand soap, body soap, shampoo and conditioner - Reversed cycle air-conditioner - Outdoor dining setting (Table with chairs) - DVD's and board games - Smoke alarm and First Aid kit - WIFI throughout the cabin and surrounding area. The 98 acre property features: - Walking trails with stunning views - Spring fed creek - 15 Brangus Breeding Cows and 1 Purebred Angus Bull - Various fruit trees - Views of Mount Chinghee, Mount Lindsey and Mount Barney Please Note: - There are 3 sheds on the property and are out of bounds to ALL guests. - Fruit trees - please do not pick the fruit (If in season fruit will be provided in the cabin) Additional Information: 10 minute drive to Rathdowney (Local Town) 20 minute drive to Rathlogan Shed Cafe 30 minute drive to Beaudesert 1 hour 30 minute drive to Brisbane and Gold Coast 1 hour 40 minute drive to Brisbane Airport 1 hour 50 minute drive to Gold Coast Airport Note: *Bookings available to over 25's only. (Perfect getaway for couples) *Strictly no parties! We are working cattle farm and therefore do not allow pets due to biosecurity reasons. Please be mindful that tractors, ATV's and utilities may be moving around. We can supply a porta-cot or porta bassinet, baby chair and baby utensils etc. Please enquire and we are happy to provide these, must be reserved at least 5 days prior to arrival. Please provide your own linen for the porta cot or porta bassinet. Noise Restrictions Our property has a strict no party policy with no additional guests allowed at any time. Our Neighbours are respectful for when guests stay at the cabin therefore, please show the same courtesy. - Guest access Please feel free to wander through the paddocks and explore, please only use the paths and tracks on the property for safety. Whilst exploring through the property it is highly recommended to wear appropriate footwear (enclosed footwear). Please keep in mind some of the fences are electrified, please look out for signage. (All white wire rope fences will be electrified). Please do not enter into any of the Neighbours property as this will be trespassing.
