However you choose to spend your time, you’re sure to leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready to come back for another stay❤️ The space The Cottage Space The entire cottage is yours to use and enjoy. Make yourself at home. The cottage features: - 3 bedrooms (queen size beds) - 2 foldable cribs (no linens) - 2 highchairs - Kitchen (2 refrigerators) - Cookware, dishes, cutlery - Pantry staples, spices, condiments - Beverage nook (coffee maker, espresso machine) - Open concept common space - Various board games - Wifi - TV with DVD player (small collection of movies) - Septic-tank friendly shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/soap & toilet paper - Bath/kitchen towels & linens - Cleaning supplies (if needed) - Small window air conditioner unit & portable fans *Please bring your own beach towels *No washer/dryer on site *Garbage must be sorted & placed in clear plastic bags. You will be responsible for removal of garbage throughout & at the end of your stay to a local disposal centre Outdoor & Waterfront The property is 1.5acres and boasts a private waterfront and dock. Features: - Upper-deck with seating and outdoor table - Screened-in porch with seating and outdoor table - Large yard with outdoor games - 2 propane BBQs (propane provided) - Fire-pits, fire wood provided (one by the cottage, one by the lake, propane fire in screened in porch) - Two paddle boards, canoe, life jackets (various sizes) * Life jackets must be worn at all times when on the dock, by the water or in the lake. We recommend bringing your own life jackets, especially for small children to ensure fit, but there are some adult & children life jackets by the waterfront for your use * please note that the interior of the bunkie by the lake & the outdoor sheds will be locked and unavailable for use * Caution - there are a number of stairs with limited hand-rails leading down to the waterfront and dock (see pictures) Guest access Anywhere you like as there is nothing is shared Other things to note Location: The cottage is located directly between Perth and Westport (25mins in either direction) and is about an hour north of Kingston. There is a 3km private drive to get to the cottage. It is single lane. Please be respectful, drive slowly and share the road with on-coming traffic/bikers/walkers.
