Our private cottage sits on the coral edge of the glistening blue waters of Jamaica’s south coast. We are located in Little Bay, a small and friendly fishing village. Although we are not on a beach, Little Bay is bordered by two sandy bays. Our property is perched on a tranquil seaside coral cliff. Experience a truly unique getaway in Jamaica. The space Tansobak Seaside Cottage is perfect for reunions, honeymooners, best friends, and families. The seaside acre faces south, with sunrise views to the east and sunset views to the west. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the waves striking the cliffs and blowholes, while the faint calls of nature help you truly "reset" from your busy day-to-day life. Beautiful seaside patios, a sun deck, and a thatch gazebo with ocean access ladder for snorkeling and swimming make your vacation hassle-free and an enjoyable escape for everyone. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage, guest kitchen, pool, and dining area. Other things to note Our tranquil cottage is located in the serene rural village of Little Bay. It’s a place where you can truly connect with nature and experience "a total reset" from the busy routine of daily life. We love to show off our saltwater pool, and we know our guests love it too. We pump seawater into the pool, so if the seas are extremely rough, we may not be able to fill it until the sea calms down. For an additional fee, you can choose to have our staff cook meals for you. No fuss at all—just ask Anette, and everything will be freshly cooked, Jamaican-style, and served to you in our garden dining area. You can have meals served throughout your stay, or simply ask for occasional breakfasts or dinners. We make relaxing an easy thing to do. Our daily meal plan is $40 USD per person, per day, which includes breakfast and dinner (tax included). You will pay Anette directly in U.S. dollars, as she cannot accept credit cards. Please note that prices may fluctuate slightly for bookings made 2-6 months or more in advance of your confirmed reservation. You’re also welcome to use our full kitchen to prepare your own meals. The garden kitchen is housed in the same building as the dining area, so you can make coffee whenever you wake up without disturbing anyone who may still be sleeping. We’ll start you off with 5 gallons of drinking water, as well as a pound of coffee. Little Bay doesn’t have grocery stores, so be sure to bring anything you may need. Negril and Savanna La Mar are an easy stop on the way from the airport, and our taxi service will be happy to accommodate a shopping trip on the way to Tansobak. Tansobak is equipped with "Starlink" internet, giving our guests the best possible Wi-Fi experience. Passcodes will be supplied upon arrival. All three bedrooms are equipped with separate split-unit air conditioners for a comfortable night’s sleep. The only thing we ask is that you make sure all window louvers and doors are closed when running the air conditioners. However, most days and nights, the air conditioning won’t be necessary due to the wonderful sea breeze that flows through the screened windows when the louvers are open.
