Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 Acre Estate and a magical oasis for travelers, wanderers, and the displaced who are seeking an economic alternative to regular campgrounds and parks. There are 5 acres of available housing options and campgrounds with a fantasy theme! The 6 acres in the back are grazing fields IMPORTANT: Please check the map and all photos. Take note of this site's proximity to the highway. In colder weather especially there is an expectation of noise. Traffic does get quieter at night. If you have a camper that needs to be towed you MUST own a tow capable vehicle. Renting to drop off a trailer not allowed. This site is scheduled for an upgrade to commercial grade power outlets. Until then, you may bring solar or a generator. Generators must be placed on top of paver stones. They are not allowed on the open ground or grass. Tall / long RV's MUST enter going North to South (coming from Hondo's direction) and hang a LEFT 45 degrees cutting ACROSS the driveway directly into your site. The max length is 50 FT on the pad. Manufacturers frequently use the interior or "box" length for model numbers, which does not include the hitch, bumper, or other accessories. If you have a fifth wheel you must be aware of the REAL length of the outside which could be as much as 6 feet longer, not even including your truck. Firepit / grill availability may vary. The new shower stall is working and has 6 gallons of hot water, but complete privacy is not there yet so please use swimwear attire at a minimum. The bathroom / laundry area on the side of the house is shared with the house guests, but available for use. Pets must be on a leash / penned for safety. Trash must be bagged in 13 gallon bags or larger. Bags available upon request. If you'd like a bin at your site, just ask. Interaction with the horses is allowed, but at your own risk. They are usually well behaved, especially if you bring food. Guest access The picnic table between sites 5 and 6, the side bathroom, outdoor shower, outhouse, public garden, and walkways are common areas. Other things to note Grills, firepits, and tables have limited availability at the moment so please ask ahead of time if you need to borrow one. The following rules are as per the Fire Marshall / Emergency Management Coordinator / Deputy EMC's orders * Campers may only plug into commercial grade outlets. Currently the only sites that qualify are 11, 12, 13, and 14 (30 amp) MAXIMUM ALLOWED POWER DRAW (15A Receptacles): Continuous Appliances (Heaters, AC units, Fridges): 12 Amps / 1,440 Watts Max Short-Term Appliances (Microwaves, Coffee Makers): 15 Amps / 1,800 Watts MaxPer International Fire Code (IFC § 603.6): Extension cords must be heavy-duty, outdoor-rated, and plugged directly into the pedestal. Do NOT daisy-chain cords, use splitters, or run cords through doors/windows where they can be pinched. Overloading creates an immediate electrical fire risk. Not a Substitute for Permanent Wiring! Cords are for temporary use only with portable appliances. They must be unplugged when not actively camping. No Overloading / Mismatched Ampacity! The total ampacity of all connected appliances must not exceed the cord or the outlet's 15A rating. Campers cannot use "piggyback" splitters to bypass this. No Environmental or Physical Damage. The cord must not be pinched by RV doors, camper slide-outs, windows, or buried under carpets/mats where heat cannot escape. UL 817 Listing & Labeling The extension cord must be factory-manufactured and UL-listed. Homemade or spliced cords are strictly forbidden. Direct Plug-In Only. Daisy-chaining is forbidden. The extension cord must plug directly into the campground pedestal outlet and connect directly to the appliance or RV power inlet. * If you bring a solar array, that is allowed! * Generators and fire pits cannot operate on the ground. They must be on paver stones. * All campers must provide their own ABC rated fire extinguishers * No branch debris allowed on site that is not actively being used for firewood * I must reiterate, do NOT cut down branches from trees! Only use fallen wood. * No debris within 10 feet of the fencelines * All propane tanks, empty or full, must be secured or inside * Do not leave gas cans or aerosol cans lying around anywhere * Holiday lights that are not solar powered can only be up for a maximum of 90 days, even if unplugged. * No items may be placed BESIDE or BEHIND the dumpster. The public dump is open Saturdays. Please make arrangements to use it if you are overburdened by your debris. Use the loose trash bins as a temporary solution! * All RV sewer or gray water tanks MUST be CLOSED and CAPPED, not left open! * The dump station MUST be capped when you are finished using it
