Welcome to Tallowwood country! You’ll find our beloved mountain village by meandering up dramatic escarpment to the Eastern Dorrigo Plateau. The home sits amidst sleepy pastoral landscape, stunning rainforest and National Parks. Enjoy Ulong’s prized Club with stunning views and our great local cafe with live music every Saturday morning. Meanwhile you’re just 45 minutes drive from all the hubbub of the city of Coffs Harbour with its restaurants, entertainment, outdoor activities and beaches. The space Enjoy this charming newly built home with a cosy yet spacious room, modern bathroom and well-appointed kitchenette. Relax in your room or on the comfortable deck seating (gorgeous to lizard about on in the sun). The modern bathroom includes heated floors and is accessed via the main deck. Your kitchenette includes coffee machine, tea, coffee, crockery, utensils, cookware, outdoor burner, benchtop electric oven and full-sized fridge-freezer. For washer and dryer use, please enquire as a nominal may be required. The property is located in Ulong village itself, on a fairly open one-acre block, but with a reasonable distance between nearby houses, and is an easy stroll to the Cafe and Club, and just a stones throw from the local swimming hole. Guest access You have access to your dedicated room and bathroom and a semi-outdoor kitchenette-cum-laundry which I occasionally use for washing. You can choose to enjoy either your own private deck or the large main entertaining deck which is shared with me. The rest of the house and the shed is for my private use. Enjoy full access to the one-acre property's lawns and native gardens. I might even throw you a few home-grown veggies when abundant. There is plenty parking available, including one undercover space. NOTE: There is no indoor living area for guest access. However, your room is comfortable, there is ample outdoor seating, and we will have rugs for you to cosy up in on the deck in cooler weather. During your stay If you need anything, don't hesitate to message me via the Airbnb app, or if urgent, by phone call to my mobile. Or if I'm outdoors you can just pop over and have a chat. Other things to note Ulong gets pretty chilly in the winter, especially at night, so if you're visiting then, check the weather and bring warm clothes and accessories.
