Wolf House
Wolf House
Description
Wolf House is a Victorian terraced house located within the heart of Bury st Edmund’s medieval grid, so very central. A short 5 minute walk to the town centre, the historic Abbey gardens and Angel hill, Theatre Royal (the last surviving regency playhouse in Britain), Greene King brewery plus a large selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Bury has a very good twice weekly market with regular makers and farmers markets every month. Some free parking can be found but not guaranteed. The space Wolf House is a charming Victorian house with all the character, uneven floors with additional steps, very steep stairs and in parts low head room that you would expect for a house of its age so may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. We have a small walled courtyard garden which is private, with table and chairs, it is also uneven in places and a work in progress, please take care when using the garden. Both bedrooms are doubles and have mattress and pillow protectors for hygiene, we use 100% cotton bedding. Each guest is supplied with 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and a face cloth. The king size bed in bedroom one can be split and made up into two single beds upon prior request, please contact us to let us know your preference, if no request is made within 48 hours of the booking it will be made up as a Kingsize. Last minute/same day bookings are welcome to convert the bed themselves using the single bed sets supplied. Please note if you are bringing a travel cot you will need to bring your own cot bedding too. Two bathrooms, 1 downstairs with shower and 1 upstairs with bath and shower over. Extra hand towels and bath mats provided. A starter pack of tea, milk, sugar, loo roll, salt and pepper, soap and cleaning products is provided. Guest access The whole house apart from cellar which is not in use. Other things to note No parking directly outside on the street (except between 6pm - 9am on single yellow line only, spaces are limited). Some free spaces can be found nearby, pay and display zones at one end of the street but we would recommend using one of the long stay car parks within the town centre (Parkway or Ram meadow) which are all approximately 10 minutes walk away. It is possible to stop outside for a couple of minutes to unload.
