The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a unique and romantic escape situated on the edge of Avon Woods in Publow. Beautiful countryside walks, along with multiple pubs and the famous Pensford Viaduct are all on your doorstep. Located between the vibrant cities of Bristol & Bath, you can access the bars and culture of these great cities before returning to a countryside retreat. We have installed a brand new 55 inch smart tv and super fast Starlink internet making this a perfect place to relax or work. The space The Old Stables has exposed wooden beams adding plenty of character. It's a spacious property with superfast broadband, 55 inch smart tv and dishwasher. There is one large double bedroom with two wardrobes and a walk in storage space, ideal for extra clothes, wellies or suitcases. The kitchen, living space is well equipped and perfect for dining in and cooking or relaxing in front of the tv with a takeaway The property has a large dining table ideal for working from if you'd like a secluded countryside retreat to complete your work from. We have a wet room fully equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash and a power shower. Guest access You’ll have full access to the Old Stables. We’ll be close by in the main barn if you have any questions but the Old Stables is tucked away so you’ll have your own privacy to enjoy your stay. The Old Stables has it's own parking space right outside the front door and a secluded courtyard with it's own table and chairs. This little courtyard is South-West facing so catches the sun perfectly. We've also added a washing line if you'd like to hang some clothes out to dry.
