Perfect for a romantic getaway, Gentle Presence Cottage 2 has a covered patio with breathtaking mountain and garden views and is set apart for privacy. Guests can enjoy the braai and outdoor firepit while enjoying outdoor dining and the peaceful surroundings. This cozy Cottage includes a small kitchenette allowing basic self-catering (no oven). There is a SmartTV (No DSTV but you can stream via WIFI). Ideal location - 300mtrs from Clarens Square, Restaurants, Shops, etc. The space Gentle Presence dates back to the early 1900's and this Cottage has been remodeled from one of the original outer buildings as our Garden Cottage. The Cottage is cozy and romantic with an open plan design, with a self-catering kitchenette. Smart TV with Netflix and WIFI (No DSTV - Only streaming). Extra blankets, electric blanket, a heater, a fan, and a hairdryer and towels are provided. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, a toaster, a microwave, a 2 plate portable cooker top (no oven), and all crockery and cutlery needed for basic meal preparation. There is a braai and outdoor furniture under the covered patio where one can relax and enjoy meals while enjoying the mountain and garden views, or the firepit. Chairs and a camp table allow indoor dining for colder or wet days. You will be amazed at the views from bed. If you are lucky and wake early, you may even see the launching of a hot air balloon or two and be able to watch them drifting across the sky from the comfort of your bed! Guest access The Cottage has a private entrance and off street parking under shadenet. You are welcome to explore the garden and enjoy the various stunning mountain and garden views. Other things to note Guests are able to book both Cottages allowing a group of 8 in total. Cottage 2 is not suitable for infants or small children. No parties or events and guests are required to turn down music from 10pm to respect other guests. No space for bicycles inside the Cottage.
