Björkö in the northern part of the Gothenburg archipelago is a wonderfully lush island with fantastic swimming opportunities. With the ferry from Lilla Varholmen, it only takes four minutes and then you are out in a lovely archipelago environment. At Björkö, there are several green areas with nice, well-kept trails for those who like to hike. Here you can visit the viewpoint Valeberget where you get a beautiful view of the islands in the archipelago. In the harbor there are shops, restaurants, a fish shop, brewery, mini golf and more.
