Rastis Rooms Zimmer 2
Rastis Rooms Zimmer 2
Description
In our spacious and quiet accommodation you can feel at home. Not like a tourist, but like a local. The accommodation is simple and very inexpensive. It has everything you need, but no luxury. Your neighbors are people who live there, so you can get to know the country and the people. The space The room with a king-size bed has a directly adjacent bathroom (without having to leave the room). The bed is large enough to sleep comfortably in it even with a toddler. An extra wardrobe is available for guests, as well as towels and linens. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove with gas plates and fully equipped accessories (plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots, bowls, cleaning supplies) and a small table. Each room (except the kitchen) has a large, step-adjustable ceiling fan. The windows have fly screens. The house is connected to the public water and electricity network. For Ghana, this means that permanently running water and electricity are not a matter of course. Electricity and water are repeatedly switched off by the authorities for hours or in the case of water for several days. In this case, there is a water barrel on the roof. In the absence of electricity, a battery-operated lamp that can be removed from the wall hangs in the rear entrance area near the kitchen. The jewel of the house is the large roof terrace with a cozy rattan sitting area, sun lounger, large dining table, several chairs and a bench in front of the kitchen overlooking the sea. Deck chair and other chairs are provided on request. During your stay The owners of the property are a Ghanaian and a German (both living in Germany). Both can be reached via their German number or Messenger (international). On site, a Ghanaian who temporarily lives on the ground floor of the house takes care of the guests' needs. He hands over the keys on arrival, can have laundry washed if necessary, bring water/new bed linen or towels. He speaks some English or Twi or the local language. Other things to note The property can be reached from Kotoka Airport in about an hour by taxi. It is located on the outskirts of the capital Accra. In the immediate vicinity is a grocery store/supermarket, pharmacy, sports bar, sewing shop and other street vendors selling fruit, vegetables and local food. A gym of a nearby hotel is also freely accessible/usable. We ask guests to handle the furnishings with care. In the event of any damage, reasonable compensation will be charged. No smoking in the entire interior. Toilet paper is not thrown into the toilet, but disposed of in the trash cans next to the toilet.
