Loft dos Caldas

Super comfortable new loft for the couple to enjoy the coolness of Mantiqueira in a unique and tranquil place. Located in a neighborhood 20 minutes from Gonçalves, with restaurants, waterfalls and overlooks. The cottage is very nice, as well as thermally comfortable. Queen bed, with a fluffy comforter, a delight to sleep with the fireplace lit and wake up to the light of dawn in the mountains. A nice property for hiking and waterfall bathing. The space We are frequenters and passionate about this region and when we decided to build our space, we did it taking into account everything we liked or missed in other places. It's a new loft cottage with all the amenities for a super comfortable stay. The shower and bed are nice. The fireplace warms up and gives the chalet a nice atmosphere. We provide blankets, comforter, sheets and towels, firewood and some basic bathroom and hygiene items and some kitchen items. The view is beautiful and there is also the sound of the little river that flows through the lower part of the property. There are two small waterfalls accessible by quick hikes and longer hikes can be taken around the property. Your pets are super welcome in the loft, we just ask you to be careful with the cleaning, especially on the sofa and comforters. In addition to the loft, we have a loft for four people about 30 meters away. Each has its own privacy, including a separate entrance and parking. However, since the chalet also receives guests with pets, there is always the possibility that you will receive a visit from other dogs. In the neighborhoods closest to the chalet (Costas and Pereiras) there are several restaurants, a coffee shop, supermarket, and pharmacy. We are fans of the Confra Brewery, which is in Pereiras. One of the highlights of the region is the Pedra de São Domingos, which offers a beautiful view of Mantiqueira and the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. It is worth mentioning that we are in the Costas neighborhood, in the countryside, and access to it is by dirt roads, either arriving by Gonçalves or by Córrego do Bom Jesus. From downtown Costas to the chalet, the dirt road is a local road, so it is narrower and more potholed, but easily accessible by ordinary car. Just be more careful. It is possible to travel in the region with an ordinary car at any time of the year, but it is more risky for inexperienced drivers in the wettest season, between October and February.
