You will be less than 10 minutes' walk to all the top-rated restaurants and bars in town - and less than 5 minutes' walk to a tranquil riverside park and an outstanding pub with olde-worlde village feel (The Mitre). - Silverstone Circuit: 6 miles (15-20 mins by car / taxi) - Stowe School: 4 miles (15 minutes by car / taxi) - Stowe House & Landscape Gardens: 3 miles (10 mins by car / taxi) - Bicester Village Shopping: 13 miles (20 mins by car / taxi or 30 minutes by bus) Free Private Parking Public Transport and Taxis: Travelling to us by public transport is easy and you have lots of choice: 1. Milton Keynes Railway Station is 20 minutes away by taxi (or by local buses). MK station to London Euston takes just 30 minutes or travel north to Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow etc 2. Milton Keynes Coachway (25-30 minutes away by taxi) has National Express coaches serving most parts of the country, including London Victoria and most airports. 3. Bicester North or Bicester Village Railway stations serve Oxford and London Marylebone 4. The X5 bus from Buckingham town centre takes you straight into Oxford City Centre or cross country to Bedford where you can change for a bus to Cambridge. 5. Airports: - Heathrow and Luton are about 1hr-1hr15mins by car / taxi. - Birmingham International Airport is 90 minutes by car or using a direct train from MK Railway Station - Gatwick Airport - Allow 2 hrs by car or train from Bedford Railway Station (40 mins by taxi) has regular direct train through to Gatwick Airport that takes around 2 hours. NOTE: for Big events, especially the F1 Grand Prix, taxis are in very high demand, and we strongly recommend that you book your taxis well ahead of time / in advance to get the times you want. Guest access You will have access to 2 interconnecting lounges (both with Smart TVs), a covered outdoor lounge and a garden dining table, to wind down and relax after a busy day. We want you to feel at home! You will have your own front door key to come and go as you please during your stay, although we ask you to respect the quiet hours (11pm to 8am) and be as quiet as you can when arriving or leaving between these times, thank you! Please remember to leave your key when you leave, they are special order keys and so a replacement lock / key fee would apply. During your stay We will be at the house during your stay so can help you with anything you might need - please just ask! You can dry your outer coats overnight in our utility room ready for the next day's adventures (its England after all, and rain is inevitable!) For guests staying 2 nights or longer we offer a laundry service for a small fee (£4.50 per load) Going to an event? We have umbrellas, blankets and camping chairs that you can borrow. We can provide tea and coffee making facilities in your room on request. You can make use of the fridge to cool your drinks or store snacks. You are also welcome to use the cutlery, crockery, condiments and microwave or AirFryer for your takeaways or a bit of light cooking. Sorry no pets and strictly no smoking, parties or additional visitors. Quiet hours are 11pm to 8am
