The space Set in the beautiful village of Combe Martin, our apartments are the perfect base for exploring the North Devon coastline! Both apartments have been fully redecorated and furnished to a high standard. The property is in an excellent location. Just a short stroll away from two beaches and the village centre. With numerous pubs, cafes and shops all within minutes walking distance our apartments make for the perfect, enjoyable stay for couples or families without any need to use your car. 🏡 APARTMENT ONE Visit…. airbnb.com/h/theloftcombemartin ‘THE LOFT’ is a second floor apartment, on the top floor of an old Victorian terraced house. The apartment offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining space and living room. Sleeps 4 with one double bed in the bedroom and one full size double sofa bed in the living room. Arrive into the kitchen, to find storage for all your shoes and coats. The kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and integrated washing machine. Dining table seating 4. Through the hallway to the bathroom. Large walk in shower. WC, hand basin and heated towel radiator. Climb a few stairs to reach the living area and bedroom. The living area is a beautiful, relaxing, light space with vaulted ceilings, velux roof windows and sea view glimpses. Relax on the large corner sofa, in front of a 50’’ smart TV. Access to the Roku channel and Freeview Play. For other apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime you will need your own account. Free wi-if throughout. Bedroom 1: With double bed and 43’’ wall mounted TV. Again with access to the Roku channel and Freeview Play. Small dressing table and mirror located in the alcove, with a hairdryer provided. Fitted black out blinds. Other beds: Pull out sofa bed from the large corner sofa. This is a comfy, full size double bed. Blackout blinds are fitted in the living room window and roof windows for a comfortable night sleep. The living area is open plan to the hall/stairway so please note that if you are using the sofa bed, there is no door to close to make this a private sleeping area. 🅿️ PARKING / PROPERTY ACCESS: To the rear of the property we have a small driveway for parking, with space for 1 car. The driveway is suited to an average size family car only. Off this driveway is a private rear door entrance into the apartment, with a self check in key safe located here for keys on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: Our driveway is accessed via a rear access road that runs behind several properties. This road has a steep incline to begin with, narrow in places and turning around is limited with the need to reverse out when busy. The apartment offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen, dining, and living space. Just perfect for two. Arrive into the apartment to find an open plan kitchen and living space. The living area is a beautiful and light space with a large bay window to the front. Relax on the sofa, in front of a 50’’ smart TV. Access to the Roku channel and Freeview Play. For other apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime you will need your own account. Free wi-fi throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and washing machine. Dining table seating 4. Off the open plan area is the bathroom. Large walk in shower. WC, hand basin and heated towel radiator. The bedroom, a cosy space situated to the rear of the apartment with double bed, fitted black out blinds and hairdryer provided. Guests have access to the patio area, furnished with two rattan chairs, located at the front of the property. This is not a secluded area as it overlooks the road. However, as it receives all the afternoon sunshine it’s the perfect spot to sit and relax in the sun, watch the world go by. 🅿️ CAR PARKING Due to the village location, this apartment does not have any private parking included. We provide a parking permit for use during your stay, which is valid in all Combe Martin Council Car Parks. Two car parks are a very short distance away. Parade Pay and Display a 2minute walk, just 200metres away and Kiln Pay and Display a 5minute walk, just 480metres away. A map of the two car parks is shown in our photos. The parking permit does not guarantee a parking space and Combe Martin can get busy during peak season at peak times. PROPERTY ACCESS: The property is located on a main road with double yellow lines. It is possible though, to pull in for a short period to unload or load any luggage, shopping etc before then moving your car to the car park. Access to the property from street level is up one flight of external steps in the front garden, through the front door into the communal hallway and the entrance door for the apartment Sandy Bottom is located to the left. In The Loft apartment we have internal stairs due to the multi level apartment. Please note these stairs are open plan to the living area which may not be suitable for young children. Please message if you have any concerns before booking. • We offer 10% off for stays of 7 nights or more. Automatically detucted at checkout. 📍COMBE MARTIN Combe Martin is a small village, but has a lot going for it. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) there is lots to do and discover. The beach is a great choice for families. At low tide the beach some excellent rock pools and caves, great for the kids to explore. The beach is also a popular spot for water enthusiasts. The calm waters are a perfect spot for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and open water swimming. Kayaks and paddle boards can be hired from companies within the village or join a tour with local guides to explore the secluded coves along the coast. Combe Martin has a range of amenities including several convenience stores, a butchery, a bakery, gift shops and Post Office. There is an excellent choice of local pubs, takeaways, fish and chip shops, cafes and ice cream shops all serving excellent food. The South West Coast Path runs through Combe Martin and offers some spectacular walks and scenery. Hike along to Great Hangman, the tallest sea cliff in Great Britain. Or walk in the opposite direction to Broadsands beach, a hidden gem of North Devon and follow the 230 steps down to the secluded golden cove. On the outskirts of the village is the Combe Martin Dinosaur and Wildlife Park. A recommended day out for all!
